Kiada & Kianzo
The dark prince walked quietly behind his father, steps an eerie match to his sister’s alongside him. Intermittently he would ask questions of his sire—it was still strange to have the Elephant so present in their lives. But there he was, big and warm and looming and ever-present. Almost annoying so… definitely annoyingly so.
But, despite the annoyance, the dark colt found something else in his father’s presence. He had done his best to ignore and suppress it since meeting him in their cave in the Basin. However, ever since the attack of the griffins and his father’s valiant (even scary, the colt was loathe to admit) attacks against the griffins.
Keusi trotted behind the pair of twins, occasionally sneakily snapping at, occasionally amiably yipping to Kiada’s companion. Khairi was one of the few creatures the hyena could stand to be around for long periods of time. The elephant Mbwene, however… a low growl rumbled in her throat—
Though it was cut off by the crumbling shrines and bold, black rock which greeting both her and her bonded’s matching, sharp blue gazes. The colt’s brows raised, eyes scouring every inch to see and understand the power (and potential for power) that laced the earth, here. Keusi yipped in anxious excitment, feeling the yearning for the power flowing strongly from Kianzo.
“Where are they?” was his low murmur as his shoulder sought to lean against Kiada’s as they waited.
