Amalrik grinned when he got skulls in return and laughed, spearing them with one of his knife-edged horns. He winked as his cousin who spent more time chastising his lack of holiday spirit and chuckled to himself. His voice was changing, so the sound was deeper and growing to a pitch more like that of his dark father. His gold and green eyes caught the sight of a rather attractive dark mare who received the exact same gift, and he nipped at his cousin.
"Pretty girl is calling," he muttered to Ellie who then proceeded to throw her weight into his shoulder. Amalrik laughed and moved toward the dark one, seeing that she was moving his direction too. A very large bird was hovering on her, and he raised a brow, smirking. Fitting that she would have some sort of killer hawk as a companion.
She spoke to him about the bird skulls and he shook his head, sending them tossing about beneath his shorter, bladed horn. One side of his mouth lifted in a smirk, and he puffed out his bearded chest. "Oh? Lucky us then," he returned, shamelessly flirting back. "Seems you and I are the leaders of the pack then - at least we aren't going to have to carry around some damn scarf." He spoke under his breath for only her to hear.
She introduced herself with a knock-out grin, and he returned the same. "Amalrik," he said. "Son of Ulrik the Engineer, if that means anything to you." Amalrik reached over and lightly nipped at the skulls on her mane. "And somehow, you're pretty without the gore. Go figure." Amal winked at her.
