It was a soft touch that distracted her from her thoughts of placing her broken horn upon the big branches of the tree. A familiar one, yet still her hide twitched with the feeling. Rarely did anyone come close to her, enough to at least place a small tender hello. It was soothing in the rockiness that was her heart nowadays, and she turned to face @Lyanna with a small apologetic smile that her touch had surprised her more than it probably should have. “It’s good to see you Lyanna.” Her raspy voice croaked as silence overcame them while others continued to lift gifts upon the tree. She watched further in silence, hidden within herself as equines came and went, offering totems and trinkets of what they were most thankful for. A soft sigh passed through her lips, and she hardly heard it when the turtle began to speak again. She didn’t even notice it when Lyanna left her side. Of course, it should have been expected – however it all began to vanish when she turned to the tree and spotted a gift bestowed to her beside where she placed her broken horn. A gilded piece, shaped perfectly to fit onto the broken glassy horn. Her heart felt as though it were warming up. A small smile found its way to the corners of her lips as she fought the sudden emotional wave of tears. Her glassy gaze grew glazed even further as she picked up the little piece and tucked it away in her mane to figure out how to attach later. “Thank you.” She whispered quietly to the Turtle, knowing he wouldn’t hear her but saying the words anyway. And when she looked across the crowd, she still didn’t spot anyone that she might feel comfortable being around. And so she clung to the outskirts, her gaze glued to her horn as it hung in the tree – partially fearful of someone stealing it.
