Kiuaji
Late late late, when had lateness become his new fashion statement? The serpent noticed that he had missed the whimsical gift giving of the turtle as he arrived to the throng of Helovian's. His ears are filled wih the cooed comments and childish glee of younglings and their latest hot item, the vibrant hues of his eyes reflected the images of the young and old as they fixed their new adornments to their bodies.
Matanye is on his back, the large raptor preoccupied with a braid she had started in her bonded's luscious locks. Strands of ombre gold and cream threaded through her talons as she skillfully braided one part after another with her beak. It was a way to pass the time, and with the ground and air filled with all manner of other companions, she's loathed to leave her plush perch to share her space.
The cut a rather sharp silhouette among the crowd, like a serpent on a bushel of apples. No smile drawn from him is no less cut from glass as any you would find upon him on a good day. He's still the same dorobian viper, the confusion and delight of many, the effortless grace and decadence of Dorobian's elite and most desired. The jingled joy from the Turtle merely added a flash of warmth to his otherwise cold exterior.
Helovian cheer surrounded him indeed, his scaley heart is pricked by something as he stood with the rest of his herd and the strangers. Kiuaji would of liked to have pushed it aside with a flirtatious laugh, claim that it was something else. Unfortunately, he knew somewhere deep down that it wasn't the Earth Turtle's doing. No this was something crafted from his own cloth, something started years ago that he'd weaved silently into a marvelous tapestry. A tapestry almost finished and there was nothing he could do but look at it.
