Hey! The colt turns at the voice, a broad smile in place as he gazes upon the familiar figure of Mathèo. He whickers a warm greeting, turning amidst the tight crowd to grin at the boy he'd met in the depths of the caves. He'd been at his darkest ebb then, recovering from the death of his father and the growing realisation that he was just a number on a list, but that melancholy has sapped away somewhat now. Time really does heal, and Arakh now has grand plans for himself and his twin sister to distract himself. "Hello, Mathèo," comes his gruff young voice. His interest is truly piqued when the boy suggests fire - Arakh's features light up and he tilts his head. "Burn them? Arakh like fire." That's it, he's sold!

They're soon joined by another, and Arakh recognises him as the colt he'd tried to make conversation with during one of the previous meetings. Unfortunately things had been too chaotic for the conversation to progress, but the bull-horned boy vividly remembers how envious he'd been of the other colt's seemingly effortless ability to speak with a gang of foals around him. He'd commanded their attention in a way awkward, socially inept Arakh can only dream of. The bay youngster's wings glow with sparks, and the bull-horned boy looks at them with interest.

The stranger then demonstrates his magic, making some leaves dart in a number of directions. Arakh looks on approvingly, twitching his tail and looking to Mathèo, who seems to know this magic-wielding youngster. "Arakh help too. Make fire." His mastery over his newly-discovered magic is nowhere near as accomplished as Iskra's, but he's determined to show that he does have some ability, at least. Furrowing his brow in concentration, he creates an eagle made of pure flame, which circles around the three boys before dissolving into hot air with a fizzle.

Arakh looks around hopefully in search of some approval, maybe even awe, for his flame-wielding. "Mathèo show where branches are?" He shifts, showing his willingness to follow the light-hued colt, before looking to the unknown bay. "Name Arakh. What yours?" He inserts friendliness into his gruff tones, keeping his body language neutral as he looks at the blue-tinted youngster.
