The young stallion had not found his way this far north for many seasons. Quietly the light coated man moved through the thinner snow. He was glad that the bite of Frostfall had let go of the world he lived in. it was still cold very cold up here, but the stallion didn't care. Something seemed to be pulling him north, and having grown up in Helovia he knew to follow those calls. Scarlet and blue eyes scanned the darkening snowy landscape alert for anything out of the ordinary.
It wasn't long for a small crowd of people and a monstrous creature loomed out of the darkness. His ears swiveled cautiously as he strode forward. He chanced a glance at the horses around him and was surprised to see so many from the Throat standing around. His brother was among the group, but he held back his eyes turning to the beast. It looked fearsome and dangerous. There were several ladies about, along with foals. His ears flicked backwards for a moment before he made his way to the front of the group. If the beast was to attack he would gladly throw down his life to save the women and children. He was sure his brother would do the same if it came down to it.
As he scanned the creature looking for a weakness he noticed the egg perched on his dome. His heart beat rose as with hope and a flicker of greed. Taking the monster out would be much to difficult to do, alone anyway. So he stood silently watching the creature suspiciously.
