Ilios Scars heal, glory fades
Pain hurts, but only for a minute

Lately the duo had noticed very young foals sneaking away from the safety of the herd lands. With the way things were going with the the fake god he didn't like the thought of them going alone. The stallion and Preyton watched as a foal slipped from the Throat alone. They stood upon the sands watching the youngster wonder off away from safety. He had no qualms about exploring, and he would not reprimand the foal, or any for that matter, because he had done the same thing. He smiled softly as Isabella shook her head snorting a laugh at his thoughts of being alone and finding trouble.
The man and shape-shifter only wanted to ensure all of the foal's safety. After it was clear the colt wasn't meeting an adult, or anyone for that matter, they took to the sky. Once they were on the mainland Isabella landed and followed the foal from the ground while Ilios hid among the clouds. They were silent sentries of earth and sky following the boy born of wild fire and sun.
The reached the frozen wasteland of the north where the boy walked right up to some freaking monster coated in blood. Ilios was on the ground before a word even slipped from his lips. Isabella was at his side shifted to that of her King Cheetah form. Low growl rumbled from her golden lips and Ilios stood at attention a surge of magic bubbling in his veins. He couldn't remember the last time he had to use the fire beetles, but he would do anything to protect the boy. Not because he was special, his bloodline held no extra value to him. No, he was a child, and one that clearly had no idea how dangerous the world truly was.
His silver eyes found the egg atop the bloody beast's head, but he did not relax. To his relieve others showed and his tension eased, if only slightly. He watched the others and nodded to Tyrath and Astarot, along with the others in the crowd he knew. He watched the boy covered stud walk to the front before turning back to the creature. Clearing his throat the man spoke, "What do you seek from us?" His voice was loud and calm, even if his body was tense.
