"Look at us, studying the fundamentals,
Back when we were young and now we’re up here on another level."

The creature seemed very please with each crown that was presented to him, the noises he made were not aggressive at least. The pale dove watched as he ran a hairy hand over them gently, admiring them, creating them, boarding on possibly adoring for some. She thought most of them, including her, were rather plain. There'd not been much time to create a masterpiece, there'd not been much time to create more than a decent and passible crown. Yet the yeti was happy so that mean for a while they would be save from his wrath. The egg would be safe from the sharp pointed teeth. The girl barely battered an eye at the yeti's tough words to the boy, she also did not offer and consoling or soothing words, for she was not a warming creature.

Instead she simply waited in silence as he looked over each of the crowns, waiting for the next task. No doubt it would also be a waste of time, something that would test her patience. The again, watching him play with each of the crowns was as boring as it was insulting. He was playing with those gathered, he must be. The yeti had to be aware that they were not here to help him.

“These please me, perhaps you can help me with replacing the other things I have lost.” Yes, no doubt he'd like to keep them all. Managing to not sigh with annoyance she waited to hear the rest of his words, wondering if he was going to send them out to collect more items. She was not sure what else he'd like, the crown request had been most unexpected.

Yet before he could ask for more items his stomach rumbled then, it was a loud and obnoxious sound. The pale dove blinked in slight shock (and offence) at the sound, the yeti placed one hand over his stomach and patted it lightly, as if to reassure it. Unable to suppress the feeling nausea rolled through her, twisting her stomach. His words unsettled her.

A snack? What the hell did that mean? Did he eat rabbits, bark, stones or horses? Oh man, was he expecting them to sacrifice one of those gathered? Surely the one he'd just yelled at was the most likely option. The pale mare frowned at the boy he'd yelled at before noticing that others were heading off to find possible food for the yeti. Clearly they hadn't been thinking about the possibility of a sacrifice. To be honest, she was a little disappointed. The disappointment was with herself for thinking such horrible thoughts. Though when faced with such an unlikely and brutish creature once would be prone to thinking of such awful things.

Turning from the yeti she also se off looking for something that she thought the yeti might like to eat. First she found a medium rock with a hollowed center that would be able to hold a different assortment of food. Finding grass was not an easy task, in fact she wasn't sure if the frozen and half dead shoots that she pulled from the ground could be classified as grass. She gently laid the grass upon the rock in any case. Next she found some berries, Amelanchier Alnifolia to be exact, from her (although limited) training as a healer she knew they were not poisonous despite the rather dark blue colouring. Adding the berries to the grass she began to look for meat. A snow hare was slumbering beneath a rock, the pale dove mulled over the thought of killing something so innocent. She did not like it at all, sensitive she was not but a healer she was. She saved lives, she did not take them. Peering closer at the creature she realised it was not long dead, the winter had taken it's life. It was fresh enough to still be able to eat. Turning away from the rock with the dead creature between her teeth she pondered what else may fill the beast's belly when an idea came to her. Filling the rock with snow she watched as it slowly melted into a juice, next she found more wild berries, Caper, some bearberries to add a little chew to the broth with Chenopodium Capitatum and Che for flavour. She was positive they weren't poisonous. Crushing the berries in the rock-bowl she made a sort of healthy juice snack for the yeti, then she tore into the rabbit, removing the meat from it's bones and added that to the juice and made a kind of restorative and filling broth.

She was pretty happy with the broth. Carefully pushing the bowl along with her nose (glad that she'd not traveled too far) she arrived back in front of the yeti without so much as a smile. Most had brought meats or berries which made her glad she'd thought to add them together and present a much more rounded food. Picking up the rock-bowl between her teeth with a grimace she held it over the boy's flaming crown, heating the waters and cooking the rabbit meat. After a few minutes she present the steaming food to the yeti. It would warm him, have some chew, cooked meat and savoury flavours. It should made a rather hearty snack.
