A large bird’s nest - maybe an eagle’s - would be best, for then she could simply use the bowl shape as a natural resting place, and fill the empty part with feathers. Birds of prey don’t migrate, so the golden woman launches herself into the sky and heads back down towards the tree-tops. Hovering around the tips, she spies an empty nest, little feathers of chicks and larger feathers of adults tucked in between nest material. It’s not quite enough - but perhaps that can be remedied. Yael gingerly takes the nest and brings it back down to earth.
Ok, now for fur. Oh! The Yeti has so much fur. He has to shed like crazy. Carefully, she half-creeps, half-walks towards the Yeti and the cave, and if asked, she says, “I just need some fur, to make a very soft peellow for you,” and flashes an earnest, wide smile. While inside, she sweeps furballs together with her wings and then places it in the nest, until the pile just overflows the edge. And then, as gently as before, she nudges it towards the entrance and the rest of the makeshift pillows, leaving it there silently. No explanation needed, really. She just hopes all the fur doesn’t blow away before he gets to choosing.
