Though Nitika had not been in the World's Edge long, she still loved going out to explore it every day. Whether one day she decided to leave, or live the rest of her life here, she wanted to get a lay of the land, to see what surprises it may have in store so that she could always find her way around. As it was, the mist sometimes made it hard to navigate, but she'd started to figure out where it grew the thickest and how to adapt. She didn't feel the most confident yet, but she was doing fine enough that she hadn't yet run into a tree, which was good in her mind.

As she was running through the mist, out along the grassy meadow, a sound began to echo around her. At first, Nitika couldn't quite make out what it was, but after slowing her gait and focusing, she figured out that it was someone laughing. What about or who was uncertain, and normally, such a trivial matter would not concern the mare in the slightest. And yet, for some reason, she was being drawn to the sound, as if the land itself was gently tugging at her to go investigate.

Complying, and denying her own curiosity, the painted mare changed direction and quickened her gait until she was galloping again. The mist started to grow thick as she went, and Nitika considered slowing down, but decided against it, since she was having a fun time going at full gallop through the mist. In fact, she was having such fun, she almost ran into the horse that suddenly appeared in front of her.

Nitika dug her hind hooves into the ground, the strong muscles in her hindquarters successfully holding her back. She came to a stop within a few feet of the stallion, throwing her head in irritation. She wanted to shout at him for just standing there and not really paying attention to what was going on around him, but realized that the mist might've made it a bit difficult if he wasn't really focusing.

Standing next to the dark stallion were two foxes, one red and one with four tails. The second one struck her as odd, but she'd seen a lot of that since she'd arrived here. Tossing her head back a little to brush her forelock out of her eyes, and get her lopsided mane on one side of her neck (which failed), the mare eyed the dark stallion.

"Sorry about that... didn't see you..." she breathed out, her chest heaving from her run.
