His glancing, navy, gaze was powerfully drawn back the moment hers looked around; and he found himself looking directly at the cliffs she had found of interest, of no volition of his own… Perhaps her power running through his veins from ruling her herdland for so long granted her more power over him as it did him power over her lands. The thought was equal parts unsettling and intriguing.
Regardless, his dark eyes watching widened slightly at the appearance of the mirage—a lovely structure befitting of the Moon’s elegance (and also her flair for drama, precariously perched on limestone cliffs). He studied it until it faded, though his ears swiveled towards the Moon, “…we wouldn’t have to keep meeting you in the open like this.” Thick lips pressed in a small, pursed, lopsided grin and his brows raised in mock-surprise as he swung his great head back towards the Lavender Lady, “You wish for more secret meetings, my lady? Are you embarrassed by your King? Or have you more private agendas?” His head shook slightly with a short, low, rumbling chuckle in his throat, allowing himself to tease a Goddess just this once.
And then, on a more serious note, he added, “I say yes, Lady Moon. Tell us how we might build—or earn— such a structure.”
