one cannot stop the wind from blowing, nor refuse the falling rain.

"Considering his beloved Emissary killed one of my best warriors and friends, the Sun God can kiss my ass," I say as my wings lower me closer to the ground near the unicorn on our territory. My wings furl immediately, folding like small downy hills on my shoulders. A clop of hooves brings me closer to where the pair strolled, seemingly toward the Oasis. A mess of blonde hair is swept to the side by a merciful breeze that would sweep through the otherwise stale and lifeless land. I smile for a short while at Azzuen, the black stallion who had been doing much to earn his title as General as of late. Even now, when strangers were afoot, I found him beating me to our visitor.

"Azzuen, it is good to see you," my voice is courteous but hardly warm to the warrior. I did not know this fellow as well as I had his brother, but so far, in loyalty aspects, they appeared to hold the same values, earning him my reluctant trust. After all, he was nothing but a bumbling stallion - mostly muscle, little substantial brain.

This unicorn, though, with cold eyes and dark spots clouding a pure frame was suspicious to me. My blue eyes scoured over his form, capturing the dank scent of forest. Knowing little of the Edge, I suspected he might be their leader as his proud and calm demeanor at least suggested such a title. "Kri the Resolute," I offer him, my short yet sturdy body uplifted in a prideful manner. "And who might you be, who treads so on my lands?"
