Isopia
Yael confirms that indeed the water is helpful, and once more the demi-goddess is amazed to hear the strange language tumble from Yael's lips. The word does not mean anything to Isopia's mind, but the pegasus quickly supplies its translation, and Isopia finds herself diving into her thoughts to try and piece together the words, just as Yael as doing. It is only the voice of their new queen that pulls Isopia from the contemplative depths of her thoughts. "Kaos is the Rift Gods ... the amalgamation of them anyways. Perhaps he could divide himself back out into them again ... but I wonder what purpose that would serve." She isn't necessarily disagreeing, merely thinking out loud. "I think it is as our Goddess said...our emotions clutter things. We are more apt to believe the best of our Gods and the worst of others, because to do otherwise would upset the delicate balance within which we live our lives. But none of our Gods are free of sin, and just because they bless us with gifts and a place to live does not make them benevolent. It is just the side of themselves which we see. That is the mystery of Kaos I think; we haven't really seen any sides of him yet. Only the face of Kisamoa." Her slender shoulders shrugged, and her eyes cast themselves back towards the altar, wondering if they would have the privilege of witnessing whatever it was that Amaris had seen before. |
