Ampere the Mother of Companions
Ampere was on patrol around the herd when she heard the cry. She gave pause, wheeling in the sky as she looked over to the edge of the mainland, but she wasn't able to identify them at first glance. Figuring it wasn't anything too bad if they announced their presence, Ampere nonetheless approached with some suspicion in her tail feathers - spending a lot of time as a fighter made her more naturally inclined to assume there was a strategy underplay than not. Still, as the blue mare whistled out her own arrival and circled down to land int he sand beside them, she was pleasantly smiling and casual in her stance. She recognized the two mares now that she saw them more fully, and though she had since forgotten their names, remembered their herd. Blowing out in greeting and nodding her head, Ampere cheerfully welcomed them. "Hello again, to what does the Throat owe the pleasure of the Edge's company once more?" She could take a guess it was to follow up on their last meeting, given that it had dispersed rather abruptly and without much of a conclusion. Kygo flew in behind Ampere, not quite able to keep up with her flying speed when he wasn't tucked in her slip stream. He chirped his own hello before alighting on Ampere's withers, settling into to preen his vibrant green feathers while they discussed politics that didn't interest him. Ampere had news to share with the Edge on Kaos as well, so perhaps it was for the best they were meeting again, since she hadn't anything to share prior. In such times, Ampere did not find alliances to be as significant as all of them uniting to defeat the main threat. |
