Alysanne approached the pair simply because she wished to join their company - but as she neared she caught Isopia’s words. They left a combination of ice and warmth in her heart, but the warmth was certainly stronger. As much as she wished everyone could stay in the Edge forever, that was - of course - not simply possible.

She closed the gap between herself and the two mares quickly, smiling a soft hello to Yael before focusing on Isopia. “I’m sorry to hear you’re leaving, my dear.” She belatedly hoped that Isopia wouldn’t be too annoyed with her for using the fond term - but there was no time to worry about it right now. “Forgive my overhearing as I approached but your reasons are understandable. And congratulations on your new family.” Her grin was warm, as it spread into her bright green eyes. Her joy at hearing that Isopia was going to be a mother was true and vivid.

Perhaps there was a little bit of concern too - but if Isopia was moving to the Throat she was already planning for the well-being of her foal. Still, Alysanne had a hopeful request. “I hope you won’t begrudge me a visit to meet your child one day?”
