Rexanna cared so deeply for both of her friends, so deeply in fact, that she chose to speak with Hotaru in the hopes of repairing their relationship. She already had a beautiful relationship with Thranduil, perhaps one that made each one of their lovers jealous in some aspects, so while she chose to focus on Hotaru, she did manage to look over at Thranduil and offer him a gentle smile as well. “Have you both been well?” She questioned quietly, looking to both Hotaru and Thranduil for any shred of answers.

Regardless, conversations ebbed and flowed as they always did. Rikyn began to speak with Thranduil, and she stepped aside to allow Hotaru even more space. And while she knew Hotaru, she didn’t see past the mask she placed. Instead, she thought things were now fine between them as her voice acknowledged her and her daughter. Alice quickly shifted to the side while a small bleat from Duir registered in Marembo’s ears. His head perked up, little paw waving to the deer in the air before wrapping his tail around his body and snuggling in closer, hoping perhaps he might catch a quick nap. Both deer had been friends to him, Haldir in a different way. He hadn’t known the smokey cerndyr since he was born like he did with Duir, but he had still helped the creature when it mattered most.

“You look radiant.” Rexanna added on slightly toward Hotaru before she questioned if everything was falling to pieces. A small smile creased the corners of her lips as she looked to Rikyn who chose to explain the whole situation they faced. She nodded along as he went, agreeing that he had the correct information. However, when he spoke of Kaos’ attacks, her blue gaze swept to her daughter immediately, curious as to what she had to say on the matter. Would she confess to them that she had been gifted from the demon? Would she try to sway their ideas differently? Her gaze lingered a bit longer before returning to Rikyn as he spoke of the deceased, her lips turning downward into a frown.

The child beside him stayed quiet, but Rexanna offered her a gentle smile if she so happened to look her way before turning back to the Laurelin and the Valkyrie. “Kiada and I live in the Edge still.” She began, eyes scanning over Hotaru in case the words might trigger anything to her from the last time they met. “I had another child recently, named Safiri. She’s about nine months old now, but has some severe health issues. Tembovu stepped down from being King to help where it was needed. He wasn’t around much with all the duties he had to do. So Alysanne and Lyanna run the herd now.” She felt as though she began to ramble on, eyes sparking with an idea. “There are many there that would love to see you both. Raeden still remains in the ranks as well. I would love to bring you there so you can see everyone.” Her head tilted slightly. “If you want to, of course.”
