Vulkan's comment makes Isopia's throat expand as a bubble of joy suddenly bursts there. She is immensely pleased with how her son thinks about the world, and although he is still young and naive, that he has seemingly inherited her intellect is perhaps her proudest accomplishment.

"The World's Edge is a proper noun, not an adjective." Isopia schools, looking down at Vulkan. "it is the title of a place, not a description of what that place is. You might then wonder why they'd name it something that it isn't, but you have not seen all of it. At it's perimeter, the cliffs fall away into mist and one might possibly think that it does resemble the edge of the world, and so in that way, as a proper noun rather than a strict description, it is apt."

Isopia looks down at the moss she is holding, wondering whether she will notice a perceivable change in it, or whether or not she will just have to go on her intellectual justification that mist counts as rain for the purpose of her quest.
