She watched as he stood, still as a statue. And when her eyes met his own fiery orange ones, part of her wanted to run away - but there was a part deep within her that wanted to go to him. With as many horrible things he had done to her, he was still the first man she ever loved. He was the first one to grace her with gifts and love and children. And as she released his name - the one she knew him by, she watched as his demeanor changed. Her ears pulled back slightly, head tilting as he spoke.
Ron, hmm? What a strange name to go by considering his great lineage. A small snort of laughter escaped her lips as he asked how she was doing. Then, with a quick shake of her head, she stepped closer to him. She remained just outside of reach, but close enough to where she felt safe as she looked upon the masked man. “You'll always be Cal to me. No matter what names you give anyone else.” She mused, eyes glancing toward him once again.
“I have been fine, however. Though rumor has it that you finally got to have living children.” Her words ended harshly, but with a hint of a question at the end. Kiada had told her, spoken of the man, and she knew of none else in Helovia that had the same colorings than he. After all, she would know. She'd seen every inch of the man. “So congrats.” She ended, looking down and away, wondering if he'd noticed the resemblance between herself and Kiada who had shown at the twins birth.
