It's that time of year again, and to help prepare us for the holidays we want to spread some cheer through the act of giving.

~ CRITERIA ~
Please be aware this is an artistic event.

1. Anyone may participate, but please be sure that you will have sufficient time to devote to this event.

2. Only offer what art you are capable of accomplishing.

3. Please ask for exactly what you want to ensure you will be happiest!

4. Remember that please and thank you go a long way ;]

5. You may enter this event for the next 1.5 weeks, or until November 18th.
- After this date participation will be closed, names put into a hat and randomly drawn and paired up.
- You will be paired with someone who is offering what you are wanting.
- You will receive a PM from Blu as to who you are assigned asap. You cannot refute who you are assigned.

6. Remember this is secret santa, you want to keep not only your identity but that of your assigned recipient a secret so no one can figure out who has who until, surprise! they have a gift :]

7. You may begin to submit your gifts as early as you December 1st, but all images must be in by January 1st.
- You can post your finished gifts to the secret santa gift thread, once the gifting date has been reached. Please avoid positing gifts to this thread here.
- If you never received an image by that date, an alternative artist will be found.


If you need more information from your assigned player, please contact Blu. She will not be participating in the event and will be organizing the pairing of names, so can easily contact anyone should issues, concerns or otherwise arise without revealing your secret santa identity.

Any image must be stock or listed as creative commons, and properly crediting all artists supplying the stock either on the image (ideal) or as written text to always be portrayed when the image is used.

PHOTOMANIPULATION
The process of taking images and combining, cutting, merging, changing, painting them to make an entirely new and different image. Often times involves the use of textures, effects, text, and brushes.


DRAWINNG
The process of creating an image either from reference images or practiced memory. Typically includes a main subject with a background setting and can be either traditional or digital.


CODING
The process of making art through the use of the coding language.
