It was fortunate for Etes that she walked within the lands of Wind and Darkness. Though the wind was strong, it carried the curious, questioning voice of the winged mare to the svelte, charcoal ears of the WeyrLeader. It was happily coincidental too, that the Leader was not far from where the paint mare stood, for she was patrolling the borders of her land as she so often did, ensuring its safety and security for all of those within.
The dark mare with golden eyes peered at the painted femme with interest. The creature was painted monochromatically, and while she had dark patches, it gave her a strange camouflage in the stark environment of FrostFall. Mirage approached her with her illusionary cloak forgotten for now, appearing as nothing more than a simple, average, unassuming black mare. Chiselled tiara tilted in greeting to the mare as she neared, acknowledging the request for company and offering herself as one to give this Etes her attention. "There are many here." Her exotic tones proffered the words, a subtle, shadowy smile twisting her lips as she spoke. "Do you seek merely anyone, or someone in particular?" The query was spoken softly, the new mare would have to be focussed upon her to hear it. With mild interest upon her façade, the little black shadow mare awaited a reply. sxc.hu
