I like the beach Phaedra said pleasantly. Her voice lingered into Levi's ears. His twinkling eyes trailed off to the comforting sands that covered his hooves slightly. He looked around to the trembling blues. The beautiful scenery was truly breath taking. He couldn't imagine how lucky someone would be to live here every single day. What luck they would have. "Yeah, it's quite beautiful.." his voice trailed off. He was now concentrating on the shadows that lurked in front of him. His handsome figure, with the wings of a falcon. How they looked amazing to him. Nearly not as amazing as Phaedra's though. Wow did hers look pretty, even though it was a shadow. Her slim, swift figure was drawn to the side of his. Her wings spread next to his, like one of an an angels. The sands glimmered the two shadows, almost like it was... a dream. Perfect He thought Just perfect.

He caught her glance quickly. He knew she some what liked him, or else she wouldn't have invited him to see her herd, come back to the shores with him. He knew how to keep the moment going. It would maybe help them learn about each other. Just maybe...

Walking up to her, he blushed his muzzle on her cheek as he passed. Smiling as he passed he swiftly turned his head and asked "Would, you care to go for a walk?" His glance again met hers. She looked like she was enjoying herself to.. He hoped.

Phaedra felt a momentary surge of panic as Levi moved towards her. As fear gripped her muscles making them taunt and ready for flight, the feeling dissolved as his muzzle grazed her cheek. As he swiftly turned, she eyed him curiously, her green eyes narrowing and twinkling mischievously. She couldn't quite decide what to make of him. At the beginning of their encounter, she thought him a simple flirt like her. But did she detect something more in that touch..?

Would you care to go for a walk? She flicked her tail, holding it high as she trotted to meet him. Her muscles were still sore from their swim, and a walk might help to limber them out some. "That would be nice" She cooed as she matched his pace. Looking over at him, she nudged him with her wing, before dancing away to the side. Tossing her head in the air, she broke into a light trot, letting her tail stream behind her playfully. "Well? Coming?" She called, her voice full of laughter as she broke into a canter, lavishly enjoying the way the movement helped stretch her muscles.

His wings collapsed, withdrawn back to each sides of his rib cage. The black feathery wings retuned to his comfortable position. As they walked side by side he scanned the beach for anything interesting. Not that she wasn't, but he wanted to find something to explain to her something. Something he believed would help her understand himself and the ways of Helovia. The way she was, he could tell she wouldn't open up to him. He wouldn't blame her, for he wasn't open minded himself, but he really actualy sort of... well... liked her. He enjoyed her company and it wasn't liking like love, but he didn't mind her presence and actually wanted to get to know her.

His gaze turned to hers as the lightly pelted fae's soft touch dazzled the grullo stallion. His casual look turned into a slight smile. "That would be nice." she cooed at him. The pretty palimino broke into a trot, leading him towards where she wanted to go. He found it interesting that she still wanted to play.

His muscles felt sore as he broke lightly into a fast trot. Cathcing up to his side he nudged into her and laughed beside her. With a short whinny of excitement he stared into her emerald green orbs. They enchanted him so. His thought remained slightly held back for he was drawn into her presence. Quickly he shook his head, thrusting it up and down. He had to stop with the whole I can't stop looking at her thing. It was probably annoying to her. Such a beatiful mare probably got all the attention she needed. For all he knew she could be interested in someone worthy of being her mate. He figured he probably wasn't good enough, but just enjoyed being with her while he could. His smile turned into a grin as he had an idea. Turning his head graciously he snikered towards her. "Would you like to race lovely?" The words spit out. "Oh, maybe I shouldn't have said that. Your much to delicate to want to race." Trying to persuade her, he chuckled to himself.

Phaedra pranced to the side as she felt Levi lightly nudged into her. Turning her gaze towards him, she watched time seemed to pause, or to slow, as they looked at each other. Just as suddenly, Levi broke the look, shaking his head. Phae tilted her head quizzically, unsure of his intentions, but carried on just the same. "Would you like to race lovely? Oh, maybe I shouldn't have said that. Your much to delicate to want to race." As he spoke, Phaedra smirked competitivley. Too delicate, huh? We'll see about that.

Phaedra moved in close to him, trying to hold his gaze, as she had been able to do previously. She moved in closer to him until their bodies touched - her shoulder nestled perfectly against him - her wing feathers brushing up against his skin. Hoping that he was paying more attention to her, than to where he was going, she leaned in even closer, as if she was going to nuzzle him. As her muzzle was nearly about to graze his, she stuck out her foreleg - the one closest to him, home to trip up, due to their close proximity. At that moment, she danced away sideways, laughing. With a grunt, Phaedra kicked her heels into the sand, excellerating into a full-out gallops as fast as she could. Catch me if you! She called joyfully behind her, not turning to see whether her trick had worked, and Levi had tripped or not.

She her hooves pounded the sand, she pinned her ears back against her skull, in order to achieve the most aerodynamic shape possible. Her sandy tail streamed out behind her like a banner, as she raced down the beach.

Her gaze met his as again they moved closer, but this time it was Phaedra's move in and not his. His velvety pelt met hers, and it felt soothing. Almost like a spark went shooting down his spine. The touch of the two warmth of the bodies, gave him chills. The sooty mare continued to walk as she almost wrapped her leg around his. Stumbling he almost fell, but he kept his ground. With a smirk her enchanting look raced away as she screamed "Catch me if you!" (can?) So, this was just her distraction.. He thought "Hah, pathetic. That's the best she can do?" She was a one to prank to huh, well that won't just work here. The grullo flickered his ears pinned to his skull, raged with anger. He was the only one who could fool out of the two. She thought she was crafty, but not crafty enough. She was enchanting for sure, but was she more flight than fight? He couldn't tell. Something about her made him feel that she was nervous, especially when she saw his wings. He would never harm her, or a mare in general unless it was a necessary battle. The only mare he had actually gotten mad at was Mesir. She has used magic on him to try and kill him, his eyes almost burned to crisp by looking at the flames attached to her name. He had to rear towards her, trying to escape the fire. It was only an escape route for he would never truly try to hurt a mare. Just as a defense, not to kill or harm anyone, although he did get hot headed a lot.

Pressure was forced into the sands as he bolted after her. Luckily he was quicker on the sands than he was on any kind or normal terrain. Possibly even the skies? He couldn’t tell. The sands were where he lived and born. He grew up there learning the ways of the sands ever since he was a young colt. Didn’t Phaedra remember? Probably not, she was too busy trying to seduce him. An instant connection formed as he strode his legs down into the sand. He was used to the feel of the little grains that filled his feet with feeling. Forcing power into his front legs he was now catching up quick. Eyeing her greatly, he only saw the light flickering of her creamy like tail. Well, he wasn’t going to stay behind her for long. Picking up his pace, he strode towards the graceful mare. Aligning himself now body length with her, he gave a slight grin. Squinting his eyes at her, giving a sarcastic look. Eye and eye they raced up towards the back of the beach. He couldn’t take this slow pace much longer, so with a burst of energy he took off in front of her passing her with pride. Now he thought, who’s catching who? He made his way down the beach as the sun beat down on his wings forcefully.

She could hear Levi thundering behind her. So he didn't trip she thought with amusement, as he matched her pace. She looked over at him, and frowned as she noticed that his gaze looked almost angry, and certainly sarcastic. Did he know she was trying to be playful? To have fun? Maybe Levi was the type to take offence at a mare tripping him up, ego and all that. She didn't think so though...Still, her lungs were too full of oxygen for her to have voiced her concern, and try to explain. With a grunt, she watched him pour on the speed and quickly out pace her. He was so fast! Her muscles strained to the run in the sand - it wasn't a terrain that she was used to at all. But he is, she remembered, rolling her eyes and mentally chastising herself for forgetting. Still, it was all in good fun, right?

Phae shifted her weight into her hind end; hopping for about two strides as she unfurled her wings. With a graceful leap, she hurled herself into the air, feeling the air currents immediately catch under her large tawny wings, and raise her into the air. She climbed quickly, pinning her ears back to create a more aerodynamic shape, and tucked her forelegs neatly to her chest. If Levi turned to look back at her now, he would only see an empty beach. Phae held her breath and beat her large wings as silently as she could, as she easily matched Levi's pace. He might be fast on the ground, but she was unmatchable in the air. Like a hawk, diving for a kill, she dove towards him, her wings pinned to her sides. Only when she was a few feet above him, did she open her wings, casting an immediate shadow of her wings, on either sides of him. Laughing, as he must surely know that she was literally on top of him by now, and no longer needed to be silent, she beat her wings harder, flying out in front of him.

Levi didn't mind the sooty coloured mare tripping him. He knew it was all for fun and Phaedra was a crafty one. Maybe one of the smartest mares he had ever met. She had a smart way of getting what she wanted that was for sure. Her looks and draw of attention any stallion would be drawn to her. For he urged liking her more and more. He wanted to be friends with this mare, and he figured maybe she just wanted a friend to. Maybe she had other friends at the Grey? Probably she was a very like able mare. Her ways were like solving a puzzle, piece by piece you got to know more and more until you made the pretty scene that was solved from the puzzle. That's how he saw her, trust wise anyway. He honestly didn't have a problem with it because he was the same way, although being nice wasn't as hard as he thought and trusting other horses was also not as hard.

His thoughts were suddenly interrupted as he saw two shadow's of wings drawn to his sides. He was shocked for a moment and then realized that it was Phaedra. He gave her a grin as she started to pull ahead of Levi. His heart pounded with excitement, because this was going to be a tough challenge. Levi had never really raced on foot as another horse raced by the air. He pushed himself faster and faster. He muscles ached for more, as he thrust forwards. His ears were pinned back as he glided down the sands of the beach. Phaedra started to pull ahead, but he tried to keep up with her. Watching her, his flecks reflected her vision in his pupils. He wasn't going to let her out of his sight if it was the last thing he did.

The racers were pretty much neck and neck. Both of them drove themselves to push further. All of a sudden a weird sensation rolled into Levi's front ankle. His front end crashed into the sands as his body rolled quickly over his neck. Rolling down the sands, he shrieked as the pain kicked in. A piercing crack fell over the waters, as he suddenly stopped his body lying motionless in the sands.

Phaedra was so intent on beating Levi, that she didn't notice right away when he disappeared from below her. She was so focused on the steady drum of her wings, and breathing deeply to ensure her muscles remained oxygenated, that she was wholly unaware that anything else was going on. That's what being a good racer was, wasn't it? It was the sound, which snapped her out of her racer's delirium. The lack of hooves pounding the sand to accompany her wing-beats, and Levi's sudden shriek of pain. What...? Glancing down, she saw that Levi was no longer there. Phaedra banked sharply, throwing her weight into her left shoulder and spiralling quickly as she changed directions. She noticed Levi about 20 feet behind her, sprawled at an awkward angle in the sand.

Phaedra flew as swiftly as she could to his side. As she neared, she leaned back in the air, allowing her large tawny wings to buffet her to a smooth stop. TRAP her mind screamed at her as she neared his immobile body. Was...this a game too? Her nostril's flared as she took in his scent, unsure whether or not to proceed. Levi had had plenty of chances to attack her, if that was his goal...why do it now? Tentatively she took a step forward, arching her neck out towards him, ears pricked forward listening and watching intently for any signs of movement. Cautiously she dropped to her knee's beside him. "Levi" She whispered softly, glancing around to see if there was anything on the beach that would present an immediate threat to Levi. Satisfied that there wasn't, she turned back to him, a look of worry gradually taking hold of her features. "Levi!" She called again, this time louder, and stronger, her voice full of concern. Gently she nudged his shoulder with her nose. She placed her wings over his dark glistening body, and noticed with a shock that her normally tawny wings were now white. If Levi could have looked up at her now, he would also have seen a halo of shimmery gold dust hovering above her head. What was going on?

[OOC: The white wings and glowy dust are from this: http://helovia.net/showthread.php?tid=35...4#pid23084 - I wasn't sure if Levi was participating or not ^^ ]

His body ached with pain as he relieved a slow sigh. His eyes were closed as the trip re ran into his mind. Why did he trip? There was nothing in his way and he didn't mean to on purpose! This wasn't one of his stealthy plans! He didn't understand why the sand collapsed from under him. He and the sand were like brothers. The way the connected together it was almost like an impossible thing for him to trip without anything there, but maybe what he saw was why. Phaedra's wings all of a sudden were changing into a different color. His eyes widen as his orbs were blinded by this new light change. His body felt all weird himself, almost like a new body was growing inside of him. Shots of pain struck through his wings and body, as he lost his balance from this new feeling that lingered down his spine. A cracking sound struck his wings as he met the soft sands that met his face. Landing he lay motionless as he drifted into his thoughts, not able to feel his body at all.

A faint yell of his name lingered in the air. As his mind shifted, his eyes fluttered as he faintly saw a faint glow approaching him. Again, the figurine called his name, this time much louder awaking him a bit. His eyes still fluttering gently as he saw the figurine come closer, now by his side. He felt a slight tingle shift into his side as he started to see the figurine more closely now. It was a her, but who was she? Her cotton like wings draped around his, looking very massive. Almost like there were two wings together, but just as one wing (he thinks "the figurine" has massive wings, but really they are Phaedra's wings folded over his) Her halo seemed to touch his soul as this was no "figurine" This was an angel! She had came down from heaven to help him! Wow this was amazing, Levi was really starting to like BirdSong. His eyes blinked slowly as he examined her beauty not noticing it was really Phaedra. He also didn't realize that his coat was appolosa and his wings were white as well, as a halo dangled around his head. "Did it hurt?" He cooed to the angel "When you fell from heaven." His voice sounded demented because he was so in love with her beauty and that this angel wanted to help him. This poor poor stallion, so stupid from his fall, he didn''t notice that it was just his friend. Hopefully, she would understand that he was just a bit knocked out from his own fall.

[OOC: Yes, I actually did enter as well :P Thanks for telling me though <33]

PHAEDRA

Phaedra's heart seemed to have stopped beating as the moments between Levi's movements, stretched for what seemed like forever. Once his head moved and his eyes fluttered, Phae became aware that her heart was pounded; the sound becoming defining in her ears. But he was okay! Or at least, he wasn't dead. As he moved, she watched slowly as bits of his coat seemed to drain of their glossy black colour, making was for appaloosa spotting. What the..? At first his coat almost resembled hers; for his spots were the pattern of bird-catchers, but they grew in number and size easily outnumbering the ones that she had until he was fully appaloosa. His wings as well suddenly desaturated to match the new colour that hers had taken on. As her eyes scrutinized his changed body, she concluded that this must have something to do with Pegasus blood...the wings, at least, for she had noticed that she had acquired any more spots.

As Levi stirred again, her mind detached from their odd colour-changes, and focused nurturingly on him. She watched as his silvery-eyes blinked a few times, as if studying her for the first time. Slowly, he spoke: Did it hurt? When you fell from Heaven." A number of emotions washed through Phae as she internalized these words. Did he have brain damage? Was he just flirting with her, after a serious accident? Did he know what was happening? Was there some other physical change she wasn't aware of? She tossed her head lightly, and glowy dust fell before her eyes. Phae pinned her ears back at the thought that there might in fact be a halo above her head, which had incited the angel reference. Phae relied heavily on her natural beauty to make her way in the world and keep her safe, but a halo? That was pushing it.

With a silvery laugh, she turned back to Levi, wrapping her wings even further around his; noticing as he did, that their wings seemed to meld together as they were now precisely the same colour. "Maybe I didn't fall from Heaven. Maybe you came to me" She responded flirtatiously, nosing his shoulder gently, in case he really was injured.

Her saddened eyes seemed to pour concern into his soul. She was concerned for him and he could tell that but why, out of all horses, would she come to him? Levi was honored that she wanted to be with him. Her wings lightly wrapped around his keeping him content and feeling safe. An angel wanted to help him? Could this be true? What was he saying? Who was this? All of a sudden flashbacks of Phaedra appeared. Her enchanting eyes drawing Levi's presence to her, as they walked silently on the beach. The soft touch of when he slightly brused her gracefully cheekbone. This didn't look like Phaedra though, but could it be? This mare had pure white wings with gentle caring eyes. Phaedra's were more daring and drawing, but for some reason he seemed to know her. This angel's pelt was the same as Phaedra's, actually it looked identical, but again her wings were white. That wasn't it though, there was one more thing. Levi looked at the golden glowing halo that circle her feminine figure. His eyes drawn until she made an angry look, pinning her ears back towards him. He knew that look this was Phaedra. Why did she look different though, all of a sudden she was... an angel? He figured he must be dreaming or imagining this. Her bell like laugh sounded like a sweet melody. "This had to be her." he thought.

"Maybe I didn't fall from Heaven. Maybe you came to me" Her golden voice charmed him. She was being flirtatious again? Or did she really mean it? He couldn't tell and he wasn't even sure if this was real. His surroundings started clearing up more, now revealing the massive wing that he had seen looked like two? Was one of those his? Gently, he lifted his head nuzzling into Phaedra's neck thanking her for coming to help. No horse had ever done that for him, or really cared, but she did. "I wish I had... before." Chuckling he looked into the familiar gaze that always stunned him. He really did mean it, he had wished he had met her before. She was an amazing horse, not only did she just meet him and tried to help, but she seemed to like him and didn't judge him. "Phaedra?" He cooed "Thank you, no one has ever done something like that for me before..." His voice drifted off as everything was getting clearer. He did want to know why though his coat was covered in colorful dots and his wings were white! "Oh my gosh!" He screamed as he lifted one wing gently holding up Phaedra's too. "What happened to us?" His expression look pathetic as he examined his new look closely.

PHAEDRA

Oh Levi... Phae thought with patient amusement, as his mind seemed to slowly puzzle together what had happened. She listened to him serenely, as he thanked her. She forced herself to resist the urge to pull away at his gentle touch - it was such a hard instinct to break. Phae had spent her whole life avoiding contact with others, that even when she knew it was fully harmless, she still had difficulty. Still, she allowed his gentle nuzzle of thanks, pressing herself closer to him, to return the gesture. "No one ever watched you fall down before? You just didn't want me to beat you" She said with a chuckle, nosing his shoulder again.

As he raised his wing - and hers in the process - she took the time to fully inspect her now snowy-white plumage. Shaking her head, "I have no idea...FrostFall is over so I don't know..." Shrugging, she pushed back from him, getting off of her knees, and giving him space to stand up.
