Wanyecha
"if ten million fireflies lit up the world as I fell asleep"

Having thoroughly talked the large stallion's ears off by the time they made it to the Foothills, Wanyecha was all but talked out when they entered the lands. She was hopeful that her herd would take her new found father figure in without complaint, the large stallion having been one of the first adults she had encountered in Helovia. She had stuck close to his side, only just in front of him to guide the way until they had reached the boundaries, where she had darted ahead excitedly, before darting back to nudge him and darting ahead again. Her attention often caught by a strange tree or rock, her youthful excitement had no bounds.

Now she had calmed marginally, attempting to be mature as they entered the lands that she called her home. If she was to be bringing new horses home, she would have to behave better, she decided.

"Here we are Baldie!" she exclaimed, gesturing with her muzzle, "Isn't it wonderful?"

"Here we are, Baldie!"
Her charming nickname made the stallion smile and he nudged the filly's shoulder. She had been talking non-stop since the Treshold, keeping him company. So full of energy, this gal. He had talked too, replying to her jumpy and amusing discoverings.
It was nice to be around a foal again, he had almost forgotten the feeling when a excited small creature jumped around you.
Baldur shook his big head and observed the area they had arrived to. Snowy hills, mountains in the distance... Beautiful.
It reminded him of the White Forest, except for the fact that this wasn't a forest.
He lowered his cranium to the ground and smelled the snow. The white powder here had a special smell, which he enjoyed. Home.
This was the place he would come to call home. Hopefully

"Beautiful, Wannie. This place is stunning," the Fjord replied and took in the view with his mint orbs.
Baldur took a few steps forwards, his heavy hooves made deep prints in the snow. Where was the herd? Shouldn't here be more than themselves?

Loretta trotted in front of her bonded, tail curling over her back. Her salmon colored tongue lolled out of her jaws, pulling down to the left. Her shoulders rolled and growing muscles clung to strong bones. The bitch was growing into a strong warrior and companion to match the Chief, and he took pride in her. Archibald had never felt any sort of emotions towards anything like what he felt for the red dog--not even his mother. Following her he let his eyes wander around the landscape. As he neared the borders the snow grew deeper and the imprints his massive hooves left grew larger.

Archibald was graced with two scents just after Loretta alerted him of their presence. Lifting a brow Archibald tilted his head and changed his direction to meet the two. One scent smelled faintly of the Foothills, but the other was completely foreign. Snorting the Chief finally set his eyes upon them. Nodding to no one except himself Archibald slowed to a walk. The Dauntless let out a bellowing neigh to announce his presence and authority.

He looked down at the filly, nothing except her scent telling him she was already a member of his herd. Next, he turned his gaze to the sun colored stallion. His body was scarred--a fighter, or just someone, like Tajheri, that ran their mouth irrationally? He could not tell. "Hello, you two." Archibald nodded curtly, face staying emotionless. His eyes, however, shone with his dominance and authority. "I am Archibald, equine Chief of the Foothills. Who might your friend be?" Archibald introduced himself then asked the filly, motioning with his muzzle to the Fjord.
