Stellaluna gave a high laugh, enjoying the bit of blood that glistened on her longest horn's tip. Unexpectedly, the other mare recoiled, reared, and brought her hooves down heavy, aiming at Stellaluna's back. Stellaluna danced away nimbly, but her opponent's hooves still made harsh contact with Stellaluna's rib cage. The rusty mare cussed, leaping to the side. She gasped in pain - her ribs were sturdy, but now bruised. It pained her to breathe deep. In her reflex, she avoided tainted bite.
"You bitch!" Stellaluna snarled, spinning and lashing out her strong hind legs towards the mare's dipped head as Tainted dipped for a bite. A full blow would knock the mate unconscious, but even a tap would leave he mate unbalanced and disoriented. She pinned her ears back, her amber pools full of fire and rage. Quick as a viper, Stellaluna returned to the mare, her teeth set for the slim throat of the silver filth. She wished to main, spill the glorious red blood of life upon the forest floor.
