The Sun God ascended to the heavens in a pillar of fire, leaving the forests burning around him. The fools. How dare they treat him like a mortal? He made sure to promise that he would terrorize them all, forever. What could these fools do?
In his absence, the fire seemed to take on a form of its own. A massive, dragon-like shape flickered in the flames, and it glared down the seer, snorted a puff of thick smoke that sent the delicate mare careening, unconscious into a tree.
All those who had tried to attack the glorious god of the sun suffered severe burns, and all of those yelled suffered minor burns. Hail rained from the sky, an obvious power from the moon god, and the dragon-like fire roared out its final breath.
The animation in the fire was gone and it sank, burning tree and grass to ash. A large section of the once, full forest was injured and blackened. Leaves, already ill from the sun were charred on the forest floor. The ground was barren.
As if by a small miracle, light rains extinguished the fires that were still burning within the trees and the earth, a promise from the moon god. A silent whisper that they were not forgotten. That she had a plan.
