Sierra watched with horror as the blood continued to seep out of the child's chest. She kept close to the child, trying to soothe him the best she could."Don't worry, it'll be alright."She whispered to the colt. She glanced at Midas and the blood bay unicorn. Sierra would've laughed, watching the blood bay run away like a coward. But this wasn't the time. The coughing stallion hid in the trees, trying to evade Midas. Sierra looked at Midas with her blue orbs, waiting to see what he did next. She watched as he made a sand barrier around them before lifting Cera onto his armored withers.
With ears perked and blue roan head high Sierra listened to Midas's orders. As soon as the first few words slipped out of the General's maw she hurried to his side. She kept her wings spread slightly, ready to launch herself into the air at any moment. With a focused look in her eyes Sierra turned to her herd mate and his son. She was concerned for the young colt's health and even for Midas. But a soldier can't show fear, so Sierra kept a determined face, masking her fear and concern. She stood beside the General, her head constantly rotating as she scanned the area with her blue pools. She kept her regal head up, taking notice of every sound. She wouldn't move her feet unless Midas moved, she wouldn't leave his side until he told her to. She waited to see if that cowardly bastard had come out from his hiding.
