A black mustang stood a few feet away from the base of the waterfall. Her name? Insanity. Although her name was one that meant pure craze of the mind, Insanity didn't consider herself to be insane; she thought of herself as quite the opposite. But insane people don't think their insane.

The mare gazed at the ever-flowing waterfall, her head held high enough so she extended herself to her full height. Inanity's muscles seemed to ripple underneath her dark coat, although she didn't use them often in her line of work. She tossed her mane to the side as it fell upon her nape in a graceful fashion. She bent her head down to the surface of the water taking a few sips before reaching her muzzle away. As she began to pull her neck back up, she stopped. Her reflection was there, staring back at her as drops of excess water fell from her maw and dropped to the flowing water, distorting the image with even more ripples.

She turned away, placing a hoof where her reflection had been in the water. She didn't take joy or pride in her plain looks. She had once been beautiful, and she didn't like being reminded that she wasn't anymore.

With a blinking of his chocalate eyes, he yawned with a tired glance in his eyes. Flicking his tail a little, for the boredom of it. It was quite boring today, and quiet in the mountains. Why, it was usually quiet, but not as quiet and boring for Zamoro today. He had a ealier chat with a friendly stallion up grazing on top of the hills alone. And said a greetings to others going by with their business. But now, there was perhaps no one around to greet or chat too. And Zamoro was a very spirited horse who disliked ever to be alone in a place so beautiful. It gave him only a small neautral frown being upon such a lovely day yet no one was here.

Zamoro felt the light and slow falling of his black mane falling upon his eyes, he shook his head a little to remove the hair out of his eye sight. Finally satisfied with grazing he began walking to the nearby waterfall. As he heard that was naturally carved into the green mountains side, from it's icy top. He came to have a drink with his almost parched throat, since he had nothing sincerely to do. Why not go get a drink when your a bit thirsty? He walked casually to the water, hearing the soft rushing sound of it nearby. It was close for sure, and it made him less bored now that he thought. Perhaps I could find another equine there to chat with? Or even greet at least. Zamoro would only be satisfied from his boredom if their was at least somebody having a drink there as well. He found himself finally at the waterfall, and his eyes lay on what others would call a gloomy sight. He noticed her flip her hair so gracefully and gently go to sip the cold flowing water. Zamoro's eyes brightened a little with joy, as someone was here. And but of course a graceful mare too. She then looked at her reflection, and splashed away into ripples of disturbed vibrant water. Zamoro noticed how she reacted was quite a sad thought more than a graceful pride. He began walking up to the water near her, he felt the eyes of her resting on him, and with a response. Gave a welcoming nod as in for the beautiful day it was. He spoke with a comforting smile to the lady "Good day madam." He always was the gentlemen to addressed others as they should be addressed in a polite gentleman way. He waited for a response from the graceful mare, as it was too late to only give a simple nod of greetings anymore.

Bright, chocolate eyes fell upon the bay walking towards Insanity. His step was incredibly exuberant, as was his eyes that matched her own. No one had ever approached her with such a look, it almost confused her. She had a habit of thinking like a puzzle. Find all the pieces, and you complete your puzzle, therefor, you become un-confused, right?

At this thought, Insanity realized how much her name actually suited her. She wasn't insane, no, certainly not, but her habits could be considered those that belonged to a horse of an insane nature. Did that make her insane? No. She refused to think like that. Calling herself insane...no insane horse would call themselves insane.

"Good day madam," said the stallion approaching her. The black mare dipped her head to the stallion, doing her best to keep calm and courteous. After all, he had never done anything to disrespect her.

"Good day. You may call me Insanity. May I ask of your name?" Insanity inquired, her eyes glowing with an eerie, ominous look in her chocolate orbs. That look was always there, even when she was being remotely nice, the cruel, cold look of her brown orbs was going to be there. A breeze lifted her mane, tossing around the tussles of Insanity's sable locks. She almost wished she could plait her mane, just to keep it out of her way. It did, in fact, get in her way at times.

"Good day. You may call me Insanity. May I ask of your name?" The mare asked politely. Very nice how she also was polite, though the atmosphere of her seemed so much different than how she asked. It was a omnious approach upon her giving her a mysterious and gloomy look. Even her name... Insanity, Zamoro afterwards inquired through his accent "My name is Zamoro miss." He gazed at her with a curious look on his face. He has never seen someone such like this, though it didn't give him any goosebumps he instead was curious. The small sparks of curiousity could be seen in his eyes as he introduced himself to the madam.

Zamoro insistently spoke again "It's nice to meet another in the herd anyday Insanity. You seem like another who could spare a chat with me." he spoke with a smile on his face. He looked at her eyes which were somewhat like his eye colour. Yet they had a different feeling in them. He waited for a brief reply from her, if she replied no. Than he would just hesistantly sigh and walk away with a good day bidding. But saying a yes to him soon would mightly let him be merry for the rest of the day, since she was so much more different than the others in the herd. She seemed well fun to have a chat with perhaps.

The chocolate equine's name was Zamoro. 'What an odd name. Maybe it's of a different land...' Insanity mused upon this thought; showing no emotion on her burnished black features. She watched intently as Zamoro searched through her eyes, picking around for something she knew not of. If it was a glimpse of her past, or a slither of her feelings, she was not giving them out that easily.

A chat. She figured he mustn't have ever heard of the Shadow before, after all, Insanity was not known for chatting, but when she did, her words were spiteful and brimming with utter hatred for life. No one would dare have a simple, gleeful chat with this mare of darkness, but the mustang was having far too much fun toying with the bay now to stop her game.

Insanity smiled sweetly, though it held no feelings behind it. Her eyes were like brown fire, hot and charged. "It would be an honor, Zamoro," she began, shifting her body to face the bay directly, "What shall the topic of our little chat be?" The mare laughed a little at the word chat, a cold sinister laugh it was. If this stallion hadn't figured out the fact that Insanity was not one to be trifled with; she would simply have to assume the stallion was brain dead.
