Aviya felt Psyche's watch eat her up. Inwardly, Aviya wanted the approval of those orange eyes--and today, it seemed, she would get it. Psyche continued forward in her conversation with Varath, as he had introduced himself. Relaxing a bit, Aviya let her blue gaze focus on the newcomer. His eyes were two different colors, something Aviya was used to. d'Artagnan shared the trait of heterochromia, and the filly did not waver under the crimson and silver gaze. Her face remained cool and composed, a maturity far beyond that of a yearling gripping her feminine features. However, when Varath changed his position in front of her, a small smirk graced her light face. His ears tipped forward, pressing in to catch her words. She watched as his muscles stiffened with an awareness that would grace her so well in the future, and at the arch of his neck an intrigued curve of her brow followed. She would need to get to know this colt, most surely.

Her head snapped to catch the pale sight of another quickly, his words coming loud and almost obnoxiously. Her crystalline eyes narrowed darkly, tail flicking thrice upon her white hinds. "And you are?" the dark princess questioned, shoulder muscles tensing some. The new white colt walked in such an ungallant manner, his movements stiff and unpracticed. His odd blue markings and handsome white face were the only things that gave Aviya a second thought about him, a shallowness that the filly was not ashamed of. The new white one mumbled, and Aviya nearly scoffed--but she remembered that Psyche was here. The doctor's daughter clenched her jaw quickly to quiet her tongue from further lashings, hoping she did not displease the Dark Empress.

Aviya wondered if Varath felt the need to please his superiors like she did. Actually, the filly wondered if anyone else but her felt the same way. Aviya already held the knowledge that she pleased her parents, a powerful couple, and that drove Aviya for more. She fed off of power, admiring it, and she knew one day she would have as much power as the horses in her life--d'Artagnan, Psyche...Mauja. Oh, how the young filly yearned for the spotted king, his strength undeniable and ever alluring to her curiosity.
