He only waited the slightest amount of time before she spoke. He flicked both ears forward and listened intently. You and me are alike then, it seems... Were they really? He didn't think so. Every one thought something right?

I have a companion? And already live here?" He gave her a slight smile to show he was only kidding. "...But seriously I am looking for a herd and a place to call home. I have no questions that come to mind now." He was happy the mare gave thought to him. Some had just totally ignored the stag. It didn't bother him though.

"Should I have questions?" He wasn't kidding this time. He thought he was vigilant, but they were already so different then what he thought. "Did you have a lot of questions when you came?" He was curious. It was his nature. His ebony lips ceased to move and he fell silent. Awaiting her answer.
