There was more comfort in allowing Hototo to wander off on his own now that her link to Eytan had been restored and she could now request glimpses of where her companion and her son were. Hototo had slipped away from her early in the morning while she still slept to go off and explore Helovia. She could not hold it against him, she remembered when she was a foal and wanted to explore. Her nearly crippled legs had kept her from doing a lot of what Hototo was able to now, and so she would not stop him, but she would keep an eye on him as he seemed to ignore her warnings that the world was filled with danger.

The flashes of color she received from Eytan, all mixtures of blue and sandy brown, told Ktulu exactly where she would find them. The Endless Blue was a place she purposely avoided as it reminded her too much of the Tides. While she had been too young to have any real connection to her once home there were a mass of bittersweet memories that assaulted her.

The dark mare smiled as her hooves sunk into the sand and her eyes landed on her son and her bear. "This place is called the Endless Blue." She said as she moved to stand beside Hototo. "It's an ocean. I once lived in a place that looked just like this." She looked down at her son before lowering her head to nuzzle his forehead.

"Why don't you go play in the water?" She suggested. "It won't hurt you."
