Atlas had no intention of stopping, regardless of who popped out of the woods but, when a mare cut him off the dark stallion found himself halting abruptly. What the hell was she doing? He tossed his head in surprise, slight annoyance. It didn't take much to annoy him these days. She spoke, and Atlas couldn't help throw her a look that said he was wondering if she came about this astounding observant quality naturally . "Obviously." He said dully, his tail snapping behind him.

At least she didn't have an extra appendage like a horse, or wings growing out of her. That at least put her on a civil level with Atlas, somewhat. This mare wasted no time launching into questions. Questions that also managed to get under his skin. "It's none of your business." He said, this time scathingly. "...And I don't run from anything" He said, stamping a hoof. How dare this cheeky mare insinuate he was a coward. Although the truth of that matter was somewhat blurred. Of course he was running from something, or else he would have never strayed into Helovia. Everyone ran at some time or another. "Anything." Atlas reiterated the fact as his head rose to a kingly posture, and attempted his best to appear taller than the mare. He couldn't change genetics and no matter how hard he tried, he was not going to best this mare in the height department. "Who are you? He asked, this abomination needed a name.

He wasn't given the chance to say more, another mare arrived. Atlas watched her with his dark calculating eyes, at least she didn't have a disfigurement either and this mare had suddenly garnished brownie points. This was the most equine he'd seen in a long time, having been raised in a herd of unicorns. Disgusting creatures, all of them. The new mare spoke, and gave this land a name, as well as herself. Solstice, he committed the name to memory. "A warrior?" His said incredulously, as if he couldn't imagine this mare as a warrior at all. He had problems envisioning any mare as a truly great warrior. Perhaps he was a just a bit sexist, his upbringing was to blame.
