Desert rose, dreamed I saw a desert rose, dress torn in ribbons and in bows

Her eye watches others emerge. It's as if the meager call of the blue roan stallion could summon everyone he wished at the same heartbeat he spoke, and then some. The little filly, at this instant feels a hot, slowly trickling black breath pour across her shoulder. Suddenly stunned by the closeness of this figure, she spins around on weak matchstick legs to find a much larger, stronger gray adolescent peering at her with a drunk gaze. She inhales, but it's a gasp, and out of no respect to anyone but herself, she leaps from his touch feeling lost in the friendless of this reunion. She feels unnoticed by anyone but him, and his filthy minded eyes. Some part of her screams for help, while the other just wants to run.

She looks back at him, and his teeth recoil, barred, back to the natural extension of a neck. It occurs to her that he tried to grab her up and take her for his own. Aswane holds her breath, rounding closer to the ivory stallion with the two odd horns. He is innocence in her mind, even if she feels like all innocence is lost here.

And more arrive, bringing up greetings and becoming more strange to her. This whole family seems to follow some sort of horrifying pattern, either noticing too much or not noticing anything at all.

She is lost in the friendly words and dark stares.
