An amused glitter sparkled behind her golden eyes as Torasin's chirpy words summoned a happiness within her only he could stir. He was infectious, lovable and pure, she hoped for nothing more than a happy, long life for him. Akaith was absorbed in her play with the young brown, the little creature she knew her dragon saw as a brother, or a son, something closer than mere friendship but not so deep as lust -he is a brown, after all- came her little mental quip, given with nothing more than fact - a brown dragon was unlikely to outrace a bronze or silver when it came time for the little gold to rise to mate. Akaith was gleaming with life, the ancient little queen happily displayed her prowess in the air, her little streak of vanity happily stroked by the attentions of the blue and brown. They certainly created quite a racket when they were riled up, and so with a sharp glance to the skies, a mental nudge, Akaith quietened her happy tones down, insisting the others to follow suit as she took the play to a patch of trees a bit further away, so that they could participate in curious dragonly activities without being criticized for what others would define as simple 'noise'.

Tor addressed her, and with a curiously raised brow Mirage gave half a nod in response - why would the outcast mare want to speak to her? Mirage had said she was welcome within the borders of the Edge, and it seemed that the pale maiden had certainly made herself welcome.. Tor even continued to spout out remedies to heal the leader's shoulder like she was a regular Nurse. Rishima had told Mirage of an interesting, tense conversation held between the Advocate and the Outcast, but she wasn't aware that the Edge had become a more permanent abode for the femme. Either way, an extra healer to aid the herd was not something Mirage would turn down easily, though some consideration needed to be had with Tor - curious things had happened, actions that confused her, things that would need to be clarified before anything else was settled upon.

Ears flicked this way and that as they all gathered around, each proffering their two cents worth of knowledge and advice. The WeyrLeader gave them all an indulgent smile, before pulling upon her own sultry tones to explain the precautions she had already taken to ensure it healed straight and true.

"The wound was caused by my own dragon's tail, and sealed with fire not a minute after it's opening. That initial scab washed off upon my return here from the Basin, where Akaith helped to clean it in our fresh stream."

While she appreciated their traditional remedies, it would be useful, she thought, to see the Dark, Windy magic that Torasin expertly orchestrated now as Moon Doctor of the lands at work. Feeling the magic stirring within him in the way the wind danced playfully about his mane, and the shadows beneath him seemingly take on a life of their own, she gave a nod of permission, uttering softly, but still loud enough for the group to hear; "I think a demonstration of the land's own healing arts would be quite suitable here."
