 resplendence
The claybank dun mare finally had a home. A nice home, one that was dawned the name of the Foothills. And it was a gorgeous place. Luscious in texture and scent and just a calm place. Though, from the way it sounded, it seemed that one of the leaders had recently stepped down and left it over to someone else. Not that she minded, not in the least, just an interesting atmosphere for the fae to fall into. So, now that she was certain of the way back, she decided she would go out and venture for a little bit. Allowing her feet to carry her where her feet so wished. In fact, she didn't even pay attention until she noticed that the world was becoming foggy and difficult to see. She originally thought that it was her vision going on her which sent a flood of panic in her system. That was, until the fog suddenly cleared and she saw a gorgeous green field appear before her. Finally, a shift in her step allowed her to kick up her heels and catapult into graceful lope. Her flints just barely snatching at the ground long enough to propel her forward again and no more. The feel of the wind against her coat was a brilliant change, and something she wished she had the ability to allow to happen more. For she wasn't normally one to run. Well, run for fun that is. She ran from just about every single other thing for the tiniest (and silliest) reasons. It was then she could have sworn her ear fell upon the sound of something in the distance. Though, it was difficult to tell just what it was with only one appendage to allow her to hear. A snort escaped her delicate maw before she came to a stumbling stop in the middle of the field, eyes swirling around and attempting to place where the noise was coming from. And nostrils flared as she took in the scent. Another horse possibly? It didn't reek of lupine blood, so that was definitely a plus.
