 resplendence
Resplendence had ben trying to slide around the lands. Everything overpowering her senses as she lurched forward at an easy trot. There had been foals around here. And simply the sight of foals made her heart feel as if it was being ripped into two. The memories of her family being mauled fresh in her head, vibrant in colour and sensation that it could put her in a completely different place in mere moments. Her eyes flickering around until she landed upon the sight of a young foal being sent into a state of panic because of the flock of birds that had erupted into the sky. She had to admit, she had jumped as well, leaping a few feet forward, but not much more. This foal was as skittish as she was, if not more. And so, carefully, she followed behind her, making sure that she didn't' get herself lost in the woods. Her motherly instincts kicking in. The instincts she had never been allowed to use.When she finally saw the foal stop she watched as she burrowed herself in the tiniest space between the tree and a bush. Her body disappearing from sight as tears and hiccuping emerged from behind the foliage. "Shh. Shh. It's okay little one." Resplendence spoke, dropping down beside the brush and resting her head on the ground so that her maw was close to the brush. "It's just some birds. No one's going to hurt you," she purred out, allowing her smooth voice to float in the air. The poor baby reminded her so much of her own daughter.
