She had found herself a home for the time being.. One that she eventually wished to turn into a place of fun and adventure, but she had as of yet to learn the laws of the land and didn't wish to overstep her boundaries with any other possible mares or stallions that may own territories, and if there were even territories. Ingrid wasn't sure of the customs here, and she wished to find out before she made a move towards a place to call her own. The golden beast walked docilely through the trees surrounding the the path, pausing to admire the tall trunks and dangling leaves from afar. It was certainly a beautiful land, and one he was more than happy to dwell in, but then again, beauty had dangers as well. Her old home had predators to the unicorns which were wolves, the large wild cats...Every land had it's threats even if it may seem to be a paradise at first glance.

Snorting softly, the golden queen shook her tiara to resettle her mane before she picked up the pace and trotted through the trees. Her head was held high, eyes alight with the fire within her spirit and her lobes directed forward. She was ready to greet the day.. and as the sun reached its zenith, she could feel the warmth beating down on her back, and knew that the rays would light her pelt aflame. It was one of her pride and joys that she had such a vibrant color as palomino. Very few came out with the colors of the sun. There were many colors, but mostly more muted, or duller pastels.

She reached the softly forested trees edge and paused, staring into the depths before she entered, lifting her knees high as she found himself standing hip deep in the cloudy dust. It wasn’t refreshing, and laying her ears against her skull, Ingrid whinnied and halted, both front legs stopped hard, taking a rare moment to look around at the lush scenery. A dunk of her crown. Moments later she tossed her crown as it came back up, enjoying the warm rays the sun made as it reflected from the almost glossy leaves. Ingrid walked further into the woods until she almost wouldn't be able to turn back and be lost, but maybe that was what she needed.

Long white marked legs carried the pirate lass through the threshold yet again. She was getting quite tired of all the damn trees. She had spent her past few days wandering the threshold, bringing in new people to her home The pirates were in dire need of new members, and Cosette felt she needed to help. She wanted to make a good impression and hopefully work her way up to be one of the better known pirates. It was her dream to be looked up to and followed, but she did not think she had what it took to be first in command, but maybe somewhere close or someone in a high rank among the pirates.

She shifted her weight as she circled through the trees. She was looking for another person to call a friend. Unlike most pirate lass' this mare was awfully kind. Sure she thought highly of herself and knew she was beautiful? But what was wrong with confidence?

Her head held high and her posture perfect as she trotted through the woods. A golden blur caught her interest though. It was off in the distance but Cosette could make out that it was another horse. She shrugged, why not? She changed her direction and her path and headed towards the other horse. As she grew closer she could make ut a palomino mare, with spots on her rump. She looked almost just like Cosette body wise with a leonine tail and a horn. Cosette smiled to herself as she grew closer. She didn't feel like much for words at the moment so she decided too speak with a mere hello.

Ahoy! she said as she found herself standing close to the other mare. A tattoo on her neck, a PIRATES sword? Could she be? Cosette knew she always had a good sense of right and wrong. And coming to great this mare was definitely on the right list.
