She spoke so fast. So many words. Gaucho tried to focus, but the ebbing pangs in his shoulders and the wooosh of the rain, made it difficult for him to focus. He lost most of what she said, only hearing thank you and spar and mud; still, that about summed it up. Tentatively, the bay reached his black muzzle out towards her wither. His nostrils flared somewhat as he took in her rain-soaked scent, quickly surveying her lithe blue form to ensure she was alright. Meaning to brush his nose against her skin, should she stand still, he slowly pulled away. A herd was family to him - regardless of how well he knew them. Victory, unless in battle, meant little to him; nothing compared to ensuring that Aryel was alright.

As she spoke of Tio, the bay grunted as if amused. "In-vade?" He asked, his deep voice chuckling at the idea. Although he had only seen a little of the Throat, he was certain they would be a formidable enemy to any who challenged them. As she spoke of Kri, he huffed a sigh, having not yet met their leader. He understood leader's were busy and yet...it frustrated his mind. Tossing his head no, he looked at Aryel again, deep blue-grey eyes appearing kind, if not completely intelligent. "Tio. No. Not with sar-gent Aryel to fight." He said with a nod, trying to pay the mare a compliment, but utterly failing at the wording. Still, he assumed she would probably get the gist of his intentions. Flicking his tail, he cast his eyes to the sky, squinting as large drops of rain continued to fall. While sparring in the rain was good practice, merely standing in it did not seem to be as good of an idea. "Gaucho to Throat." He told her simply, and began to walk in the direction of their herd land. Fearing, as she had during battle, the ramifications of flying in such a storm.
