So lost in her own world of make-believe and fantasy, Raeden hadn't even heard the soft footfalls of Luken as he approached. Of course, life had not taught her yet to be aware or wary of others; youthful naivety still cradled her mind, dousing every encounter in magic and thrill. A prince! She thought at once, noticing the bold black markings that covered his gangly frame. Of course it was a prince! Taking a midnight stroll through the mist, to gaze down at the ocean hidden beneath the fog. How wonderful! Rae's slender form danced his way; the girl made sure to arch her neck prettily, as she had seen her mother do, and to let her tail flag behind her, causing the delicate white strands to billow out. "Of course I do" She purred, batting her large sea-green eyes, halting just a few paces before him. It was a lie of course, this was the first time in her little life that she had been alone under the moon, much less dancing beneath it, but it seemed a fitting answer for the would-be princess. Besides, she already felt the pull of twilight telling her to come back again, and again and again...

With a playful nudge towards his shoulder, the filly began to dance again - her movements were clean and fluid, a happy gift from her arabian heritage. Prancing in a circle around Luken, she tried to bring her knees higher and higher with each step, slowing her motions until she was almost stationary, prancing in place. Suddenly, a sound more beautiful than she had ever heard before, floated over head. Raising her slender pink muscle, for a moment she was blinded by the brilliance of the moon, and could only make out a black shape against the skies. As it moved, and her eyes adjusted, she beheld a sight so perfectly fitting for this setting of magic she had created in her mind: A dragon. It's golden body twirled effortlessly in the skies, and little Rae squealed with joy. Raising up onto her hind legs, she pawed at the sky, rotating with a few small hops to draw the dragon's path as it soared down. Following Akaith's flight as he moved towards Mirage, Rae stopped dead in the air, her flailing hooves falling to the ground with a dull thud.

It was the queen. It had to be!

Rae thought Mirage was the most beautiful creature she had ever seen. Pink muzzle hanging open somewhat, as the DragonHeart danced their way, Rae took in with greedy eyes the delicate posture of the black mare, mentally noting how the equine carried herself. She looked so graceful. But of course she would, she must be a queen after all. As Mirage began to laugh, the awestruck spell that Rae was currently under shattered. Trying to mimic Mirage, she tossed her horned-head, trotting forward, trying to extend her slender legs in the almost flowy-way that she had seen the DragonHeart move. Spinning on her small hind-end, the moonlit filly briskly made her way back towards Mirage, halting only a few paces away. With bright silver-flecked eyes, she looked up at the Weyrleader with awe and adoration. "You're a queen, aren't you? You must be!" With a sigh, Raeden looked to Luken, then back to Mirage. Why couldn't she have been born here? Among princes and dragons and Queens. This was where she belonged; not in some smelly Woods.
