It seemed like more than one from World's Edge had ventured to the Threshold this day. Heavily pregnant she may be, be that did not stop Solstice from wanting to wander. If Torasin knew of her walks outside of World's Edge, well she was not sure what the father to be would say. Surely from a healer point of view she needed to stay safe with in their own boarders. However she was restless with the news of an oncoming invasion to the Foothills. Her son, her beloved and only son lived there. The only comfort the painted lady had was that he had promised to send his bonded pup to her once the invasion had begun. Until the pup he called Alanna arrived Solstice tried not to worry. She did however try to stay in shape given the now larger than normal belly. Her belly was even larger than her last two pregnancies. Of course being a twin it made her wonder if it was possible for her to be carrying twins as well.

However all of this was pushed far from her mind as a warm TallSun wind brought her a familiar scent. It seemed there was more from her herd out in the Threshold today. Eagerly Solstice moved their way, her trot looking more like a waddle. She could not move very fast for long, as tiny hooves on the inside of her belly would begin to kick in protest. The golden and ivory mare found herself walking again very soon, but was thankful that it did not take her long to reach the others. It was a strange group that was for sure. Two unicorns, one she recognized as the Seer of World's Edge, a pegasus who also was from World's Edge, and two equine fillies. One filly was standing near the pegasus and left solstice to assume he was her father. Ah how lucky the little girl was to grow up with such a devoted father...

Quickly she shoved those thoughts aside as she caught the last of the conversation. It seemed one of the fillies was homeless, and the male unicorn had seemed intent on taking her out into the winds of Helovia. Hazel eyes flashed in his direction. Some males were so stupid. However it seemed lucky that not only the father and daughter pair but the Seer had happened upon the situation and were trying to bring the filly home to World's Edge. Even in her current state of pregnancy, Solstice was protective of those that she called family... and that included all who called the World's Edge their home. Without a word the golden fem moved to stand between the unicorn stallion who was so indecisive and those of her homeland. All children were safer with family, and that was something the World's Edge could provide that this loner could not. Perhaps you should put some thinking into your choices, before so hastily jumping from one choice to another. Hazel eyes were cold as stone as the mother looked at the male unicorn. However the moment she turned her head to face those of her home they softened in an instant. I do not believe I have formally met you all. I am Solstice, one of the Philosophers of World's Edge. She smiled warmly before turning back to the outcast once more as he did not carry the scent of any other herdland of him. Her eyes returned to that of stone as she spoke to him again. Before you think next time of taking a child into the wilds of Helovia, think of what is best for the child instead of your own loneliness. Her voice had the tone of a mother scolding her child, even if this stallion was not much younger than she was. In fact he should know better and if he did not he had some maturing to do.
