It seemed like only a moment before Mirage the DragonHeart landed near them. It was the first time Aaron had seen his leader in her dragon form, and he was in awe. Brown eyes looked over the other bonded paired before speaking again. "I should be down there... Helping my home... The Grey and Throat outnumber those of the Foothills... Jackal did not come. The Foothills will fall today." The bitterness in his tone was clear, and Alanna whined looking to Akaith. She had never seen the golden dragoness before, but could tell her bonded held the draconic bonded pair in high regard. He spoke nothing of the healers of the Edge coming. More arrived, the unicorn Nadira along with a new herdmate. However the stallion made quick judgements that broke the already upset stallion. Him a coward? Running away from a fight? Before he could retort back the grullo that had arrived first spoke up. His words soothed the paint slightly, but not nearly enough. In anger the paint glared, just barely keeping his magic in check.
