What was seconds felt like minutes, each movement felt like it was in slow motion and all Locket could tell himself to do was simply; think and breathe. His slight compact body was bred well for stamina and speed, but even his Arabian heritage was beginning to feel the heat under these odds. Both his opponents looked liked they came at him with their full force, noticeably taller and thicker than himself in physique and with the added confidence that came a dependable army. The battlefield was rapidly changing, the scent of his only comrade Ariadne had gone distant, like she had been dragged into another part of the battle. It was this kind of loneliness amongst the fray that could destroy one's concentration and cost him his life, but Locket had lived his life as a vagabond. Grit and determination was something he had in spades.

As he reared to attack MURDOCK, he could feel the tingling pain sensation of a scrape on his left hock, the scratch minimal compared to that on his neck that bled into his chestnut fur. If he had the time he would have commended OPHELIA on her fighting ability, for one so young she possessed quite the mind in the heat of battle. Yet, such compliments would have to wait as a couple of seconds ticked and MURDOCK was retaliating. The obsidian brute squares up to the little warrior and makes himself taller, much to Locket's chagrin, the Arab's own cloven hooves striking MURDOCK's elbow area. It was then that too hooves punished him quite firmly on the centre on his chest, earning a deep grunt from Locket which was cut short as his breath was taken away and ears flickered to the approaching hooves of OPHELIA. If he had the time the little stallion would have cursed his situation, back hooves fumbled and took steps backwards from the force of MURDOCK's attack. Moving his body as OPHELIA's horn made impact, instead cutting into the flesh where his rump curved into his back.

Forelegs touched the floor as green eyes watched the leggy alabaster mare spin, his mind trying to keep up with each attack and right at that moment Locket's snowy ears laced back as dainty feet shifted. His heart pumping faster, his body marred in blood and bruises. Locket knew his part in his battle was going to come to an end if he didn't figure out something quick. If two on one, always run.

Locket almost nodded to himself and his gaze glazed over in relief as MURDOCK moved out left when his comrade took the offensive once more. Wincing and grunting, Locket switched back to rely on his speed again, head flying into the air as he hopped into a twisting mini rear, whites of his eyes showing as he watched OPHELIA's hooves narrowly miss his well-formed panda face. As soon as cloven feet touched the grassy ground the warrior ran, in a strange moment it seemed all the fighting ceased as each fighter took their turn to breathe.

Nostrils of pure white and flaring pink blew hard, tail held high in breed fashion as he carefully avoided the patch of snow that had formed from BIRCH ... BIRCH? In the chaos of battle it seemed the black femme who was helping the tree horse had fallen, and the grey draft had yet to confront him. Locket had to admit, he wasn't used to fighting a tree, but her bulky heritage he was experienced at fighting against since his spar with Archibald. However, Locket didn't get chance to engage the mare himself as something flapped and eyes strayed upwards. "Shit."

The rear hooves of MURDOCK fell dangerously towards his spine, the warrior danced out of the way in time and slid onto the snowy ground. Cursing once more as he picked up into a canter and off the grass that had been turned wintry by the grey tree's blizzard. MURDOCK wasn't finished however, the pegasus hit the floor and flashed a kick for his right knee, Locket responded by rearing. Wincing visibly as both his shoulder and chest protested, feeling the whoosh of MURDOCK's hoof fly past his knee just in time. Taking the odd black hair with it. The panda boy let a smile work its way onto his face as he rather awkwardly cantered towards MURDOCK, the injuries beginning to show as his movements were noticeably slower than usual. He aimed a quick bite for MURDOCK's shoulder, where a white wing joined the equine body. Hoping to rip into some muscle unknown to him before cantering away as fast as his weary body would allow him to, puffing with each stride.

Sooty legs felt heavy like he'd been running for hours without rest. His canter turned to a halt and a hoof raised in the air before glazed green eyes that now targeted OPHELIA. The magical power flowed through his body for the last time and channelled into his left hoof, he let the feeling of invincibility that came with magic flow through him before slamming his hoof upon the earth. Making the ground crack and moan. Hoping dearly that she had been knocked off balance, Locket made one final lunge for the pale Leader, using his teeth once again to try to rip into her jugular.

[w/c: 890] [magic uses: 2/2] [injuries: Locket sustains flesh injuries to right crest, left hock and back as well as bruising to left rump and chest.]
[Summary: Locket does get a small scratch on his hock from Ophelia's flying kick at him, he then takes Murdock's rear firmly on his chest which knocks the wind out of him and pushes him back. Which subsequently allows him to dodge Ophelia's horn to the lion and instead injures the top of his back. Locket then rears once again with his head raised high to miss Ophelia's next kick before running off at the same time as she does. He pauses for a moment before noticing Murdock attacking him from above, which he canters out of the way of and rears to dodge his opponents kick. Locket's movements are noticably slower due to injury and he attempts to bite the muscle area that connects Murdock's wing to his body before running off and using a war stomp on Ophelia to try knock her off balance and going to bite her jugular.]
