All I saw was the sea again. My heart started beating furiously in my chest, and I fell in love with the scenery and I stood frozen for almost a second. I didn't know where the nice unicorn mare, Cosette went. The pirate lass. I wanted to become a pirate. Live by the seas, see the endless blue everyday, the palm trees surrounding the beach. That was truly the life for me. I stood there with tears spilling in my eyes and I was so happy. My heart kept on pounding in my chest as I looked all around. I was standing at the edge of the palm tree forest, looking. I lifted up on my hind legs, and let out an overjoyed whinny. I raced out of the shade of the trees and ran towards the water. It was calling my name. The sand caught around my hooves, but I never felt myself starting to stumble. Because I felt like I was truly flying. I finally left the ground with one final leap towards the entrancing, aqua water. My home. I felt the water enclose around my hooves, and I reared up on my legs again, overjoyed with my discovery of the sea of Helovia. It almost seemed as beautiful as my old home. But now the sun was burning high in the sky.
I felt the refreshing water encircle my legs. I felt truly at home now. All I needed was Cosette and her other members to come out and escort me to be with their group now.

One thing you must remember not to do to Corsair: do not wake him from a nap. The Captain wasn't one for sleeping on the job often, but he did after a stressful night, or hours of patrolling the beach. The bay lay in a heap underneath a palm tree, lost in a dream of himself and his beloved Cosette. Oh, how he longed for her touch again.
An exuberant whinny awoke the Captain, lifting his head and letting out an annoyed snort. His dream was just about to get really good and now he may never dream the same one again thanks to the idiocy of the horse who had been a little too happy. His deep blue eyes scanned the beach furiously, looking for this horse.
The Captain's eyes finally fell upon the mare in his territory, the icy cold glare leaving his orbs as he observed the seemingly foolish mare. Corsair was not known for welcoming visitors upon his beach, so he stood quite hastily. The mare seemed harmless, but could easily become vicious, just like many other creatures Corsair had encountered in his journeys across Loorien.
Corsair approached the mare walking, his head held high and his eyes looking over the mare, judging her movements and body structure. If he had to fight her, he would. It'd be best to analyze her weaknesses beforehand, though. "'Ello, me name's Corsair, Captain of t' Pirates who reside upon these shores," The bay spoke in a kind tone. It was best to be kind at first, then let the venomous words flow before he pounced. "Why have ye come here, little lass?" Corsair questioned, a smile dancing upon his lips. Fatigue was not a problem for the stallion, for he hid it quite well.

As I ran in and out of the water, splashing and acting foolishly, almost how a foal would act, I noticed something odd. My ears caught the sounds of hooves, and I boldly turned my head to face who was approaching me. My heart started to beat harder. Maybe it was the pirate lass Cosette, who would now even accept me into the herd...The Pirates. Yes! I screamed inside of me, and faced the horse smiling. My hopes fell when I saw that there was just a stallion in front of me. He seemed kind of annoyed, but he hid it quite well on his face. I looked closely at him and saw that he had stunning blue eyes, a lot like my aqua blue's, with bay pelt color, but slightly grullo. He had corks in his long, wild mane, and the mane was silky black.
I listened intently has he began to speak, and I was almost completely relieved when I heard his accent. It didn't sound...French, like Cosette's accent, but it still had the same dialect that she had. My eyes widened a bit when he told me who he was. He wasn't just a crew member, but the captain. I started heating up, embarrassed that he just saw me prancing around like a foal..The captain! Maybe he would accept me into his band. Before I could say anything stupid, or sound like a shy filly, I put my bold face back on, having an excited smile curling on my lips. "Captain? I am so relieved to meet you at last!" I said. Before he could wonder what I was talking about, I breezily continued. "I met Cosette, and she invited me to be a part of the pirates", I spoke with happiness brimming my voice. "I had come here to see if maybe, I could meet a pirate, and most honorably the captain to ask permission if I could join", I said, my nerves spiraling. What if he rejected me? I dared not to tread on that subject now.
Ah, so the mare had heard of him. Corsair nodded as he listened intently to the mare chat away, a fluttery feeling arising in his stomach as he heard her talk of Cosette. She had been such a big help lately, not to mention an amazing mate. He made a quick mental note to seek her out soon and ask her if her pregnancy was going well. After all, he was the father and didn't plan on abandoning Cosette anytime soon.
The Captain set his thoughts of Cosette aside then scanned over the mare's body once more. She was finely built and had the potential to be a decent pirate's lass. Maybe even a good replacement for Alivlda, but of course, no one could truly replace that mare, for she had a family who dearly needed her. This mare would simply fill her gap.
"Alright, lassie. If ye tell me your name, ye can join," Corsair smirked, adding a flirty wink. It was an old habit, the flirting, but he needed to grow out of it if he was going to raise a child with Cosette. But this mare would have to get used to flirting anyways, the Pirates were a flirty bunch and would no doubt take advantage of this mare if she wasn't careful.

Cosette was so happy. Her and Corsair had finally confessed their love for each other. And on quite a beautiful night it was too. And now, due to little love antics, the mare was now pregnant, with the Captains child. She prayed to the gods though that Corsair would stay true to her. She trusted him more than anything though. She needed him, probably more than he knew. Sure he was a pirate, flirting came naturally to the pirates, so Cosette didn't mind, as long as thats all it was. Flirting.
The bay mare heard a voice she grew to love and cherish, Corsair. And who was this? Another mare? Cosette grew closer to the two to make out a mare she had seen before. Aye it was Naeatii. Cosette had met her in the threshold and asked her to come to the marvelous blue with her. And alas here she was. And talking to the captain at that.
Cosette could see the pure joy on the other mares face as she smoke to Corsair. Of course who wouldn't be? Besides the fact he was captain, he was probably one of the most attractive stallions the mahogany mare had met. And to call him her own was amazing.
Cosette trotted up to Naetii, hoping she wasn't interrupting. Ahoy Naetii, Tis good to see ye again dear. She smiled dipping her head to the other mare in welcoming. She smiled at Corsair before looking back the the mare. I see ye have met our captain! And let me say he be the best around she chuckled slightly.
Walk walk walk walk.
"Talk talk talk talk."
Life's pretty good, and why wouldn't it be? I'm a pirate, after all.</style>
