The GOD of the MOON

draped in stars and shadow

"So you have returned," her voice comes like a whisper in the air. "Old man."

At the last breath of her voice, a purple mist begins to form in front of the boy known as Zikar-Sin. The droplets curl and figure, twist and form, until the lithe, elegant body of the Goddess takes shape. The stars seem to fall from the sky to twirl into strands of silver hair, falling gracefully from her nape and wisping over an ebony horn, twirled out of darkness. Her pupiless eyes look toward the stranger, and then back to the elderly he has accompanied. Her face is expressionless, unwavering, almost as if she were staring in boredom at a scene she knew all too well.

The God of the Moon.

She takes steps forward to stand closer to her company in the glowing realm of the Veins, her neat figure outlined with silver light of the moon above. Her feathery wings brush the air as she moves calmly toward the old man, not bothering to cast the other figure in her presence a glance until she is done with the elder grey. "You have completed my tasks well," she says knowingly, looking at him with lifeless eyes. There was no reason to poor energy into emotion for the blind. "If you can see what lies in the hearts of others, can you not already see their true faces?" Her words were like a gentle wind in the night air, quite but serious.

The lady of the night closes her eyes, and a shooting star falls from the night sky surges forth toward the Veins. The Goddess opens her eyes to look toward the dislodged star with no hint of worry, for before it crashes into the island and its company, the point of light bursts. Several thousand pieces of light fall like delicate rain onto the island, falling upon the white figure of the old stallion and the Goddess before him. "Breathe in the light from the stars. They will illuminate the spirits around you and guide your way through this world."

Glancing over her shoulder toward the white-eyed stallion, the Goddess turns her head to view him. "You are kind for bringing him here," her voice is quiet, almost as if she did not speak at all. "May the stars above guide you when you are lost." And with that, the Goddess of the Moon disappears in a gust of wind, as if she had never arrived.

[ Myrddin has received the DarkxLight ability requested. Zikar-Sin can see better at night (partially in color and more detailed) until the end of Tallsun. ]
