CORSAIR

Sides heaved as Corsair's legs moved quickly and swiftly pass each other. His mane and corks were thrown about, as was his tail. A soft sheen was added to his glistening bay coat thanks to sweat he had worked up on galloping to the endless blue. The Tallsun heat hadn't been merciful on the Captain this season, so he was quite thankful he had only suffered a bit of sweat from the run.

Corsair's gait slowed, his deep blue eyes searching the endless blue for his Pirates. Where could those rascals be? He hadn't seen his band in what felt like forever. The Pirates were more than just a band of outcasts come together to wreak havoc on the world (don't get me wrong - they are) they were a family. They stuck together through thick and thin, no matter what. Corsair simply wanted to make sure they were safe.

The Captain patrolled the beach vigilantly, watching over the borders and looking for his band. Maybe he'd meet a new recruit, it'd be nice to know the Pirates cared about keeping the band alive. To Corsair's dismay, recruits were the only way to do that now.

Selene wandered the helovian terrain unsure of what grounds she may be crossing though she was still unfamiliar to the certain territories that inhabited the domain. She pondered the previous encounter with the bay rabicano, Corsair, and recalled a meeting with him at the endless blue. With a lift of her velvet ashen maw, she took in a deep breath inhaling any nearby scents. The sea wasn't far off, in fact it was quite close judging by the salt lingering throughout the atmosphere. In anticipation, she quickened her pace, crimson orbs widened with sheer prevision. Briskly, she heaved into a rapid trot avoiding getting caught in any vines or branches that snapped violently as she passed. Just beyond the trees an opening could be perceived, as selene pursued a elegant but energy filled canter. Moments later, she abruptly skidded to a stop, sand plummeting through the air striking her in the chest and lower nape. The sensation stung, irritating selene for the slightest instant before her chocolate gaze met the vast expanse of sand. Pellucid waters gently bounced as waves softly hit the shore, white foam rising before sinking almost magically into the sand. A relaxed sigh caused her shoulders to slouch, eyes struggling to keep open at the utmost beauty of the sea. She never guessed she would enjoy the sea this much, afterall she had only visited once. The drowsy unbending mood suddenly faded as an equine came into view. Wings folded comfortably at her side, curiosity was getting the best of her. The all to familiar frame caught her attention, corks intertwined with jet black mane dancing about his shoulder. Corsair! A broad smile creased across her lips as a faint nicker compressed from her fiery chest. She approached him with recognition, stopping respectfully a few lengths away from the bay stallion. With a swift bow of her neck, she spoke with a smooth alluring tone. "Hello, we meet again, Corsair." She hoped not to frighten him, but she tried to make her presence well known before speaking. The wrath of tallsun was quite dreadful in the open, but she enjoyed the warmth casting down from the endless blue sky. The rays complimented her rich chestnut coat, almost blinding in the sunlight.

"blah blah blah."
