Aaron had been among the first to arrive, Alanna riding on his back. She had been napping there when Mirage had called, and his broad back allowed for an easy place for the pup to stand while her bonded took them where they needed to be. He of course smiled when he saw his mother arriving as well, even if she did not move to stand next to him. After all she had the twins to deal with, and surely did not want Takara to get long among the herd. Alanna gently nipped his neck as Mirage began to speak. She spoke first of the invasion of the foothills, and her order to the Qian to stand down and let the battle happen. He had not liked it at the time, but now he was finally understanding why she allowed such a thing. Allies could not fight allies and the Throat had helped the Grey in the invasion...
