A lithe black body stuck out like a sore thumb in the dusty red colored sand of the Dragon's Throat. A grin painted the little child's face as he bounded away from the safety of the Oasis. Today would be Oras' very first adventure! He had snuck away from Mummy Aryel to have his adventure. Well, she had gone away first to spar or do another kind of sergeant duty she was responsible for.

Of course, Oras had been left to the other mares to deal with, but they never took much notice of the colt, making it pretty easy for him to disappear. Oras had wandered far from the Dragons Throat now, and not one person had come looking for him. Ha! How sneaky he was being.

The heat of the desert still blazed upon the little colt's dark pelt, making him tire easily. He was still quite weak from the abuse of his first Mummy. Oras quickly became tired of his adventure, spotting a shady spot among the desert. He trotted over to the little tree and bushes, happy to have found a place to rest.

Oras laid among the bushes and lone tree, shifting a little to make himself more comfortable. The sun was not a factor anymore, for the little tree had a lot of leaves. He shifted once more, rolling over to his other side. But when Oras rolled over he found himself falling! The colt's eyes quickly opened, red walls surrounding him as he fell.

A petrified scream came from the unicorn's lips, but it was barely done when he fell upon the ground with a gentle thud. His legs ached from bracing such a fall, but he had not gotten hurt. Oras stood on shaky legs, looking around the dusty cavern. Above him was a skylight reaching up to the lone tree and bushes he had been at moments ago. Further down the red cave, there was an exit from the cave and into the rest of the world, but Oras kind of liked it here.

No one had come to bother him, and there was still plenty of cave to explore! Oras could still have an adventure, so he did.

[ooc: set in the middle of the heart & dragons throat in the no mans land area. cavern has red walls; where Oras fell it is only four feet below the surface, but nearer to the entrance it is nine feet. The skylight is small enough for a foal to fit, but anyone bigger must take the regular entrance. It is a slippery climb down, but easy to find with a cactus standing by it. The cavern itself is about 1,000 sq ft and has numerous stalagmites that reach the ceiling.]
