The crash had startled her, that was certain. Her pale face taut like the string of a bow as she watched the winged girl ebb from the sky like a wave hurdling toward the awaiting shore. How long the fall had taken, she wasn't certain, perhaps a few moments, but it was long enough for Onni to alter the direction of her brown and speckled wings and head toward the scene. The mare had appeared from nowhere, seemingly, popping out of the cloud like someone had pushed her from it. The heat above would knock even an experienced flier from the skies after the shock of the cool relief of a cloud. They were few and far between nowadays.

Tilting down toward the ground with ease, Lyhty simply clings toward the crevice between her wing and shoulder, holding tight to his companion who is now traveling too fast for him to keep up with. The two land amongst a clearer spot in the wilted rim of the forest, avoiding the branches which reached out at them from all sides. Once upon the ground, Onni makes a clear turn of the head to find the mare she had seen land from the sky.

Once the two toned girl is spotted, taking cover beneath one of the better fairing trees, the painted mare takes to a jaunty trot to quickly make up the distance between them. Her white washed face wears an expression of deep concern for the stranger, which might be a tad unsettling at first. Onni's heart is quite expansive, and her care is extended to mostly everyone - strangers undoubtedly included. Stopping a short pace away from the mare, Onni's voice rings out. "Are you alright?"

"That looked like it could have been a nasty tumble."
