Thick flakes of water rain down from heaven, specking her deep brown coat as if she's an appaloosa from birth. The cold wind carves into her stout fit legs, she lets her nostrils quiver for a moment and then simply stop. She's been through worse, and many can tell. She has been through much worse, like when snow kept falling and all the water was basically frozen with her teeth clicking together. She survived, marked by winter with her numb feelings. She did love the season however, the cold makes her feel warm and fuzzy and that's what she liked most, feeling. She didn't want to realize it before, it's almost as confessing that you'd rather be death. Maybe she's desperate, or simply doesn't care anymore.
A sigh leaves her lips, swirling in white air around her boyish face before it disappears into thin air. With crimson red eyes she gazes upon the blurry green everywhere around her, her long mane slightly moving on the rhythm of the wind.

Something was with her though. She could smell it. Smelled native too. The coal bound brute decided to investigate and follow the smells and now sounds she could hear through the thick, cold forest walls ahead of her. He knew it was daylight out, but this was a thick forest that would shield his ebony pelt from the sun. The rain beading on her as she walked forward to the sound. It was alright with her, even with the rain, somehow making it through the forest canopy. She was beautiful. She was there in the forest, looking alarmed like she had heard something in the forest with her. She was right, she did hear something, but she did nothing much about it, just kept walking on. If this was another, say like a brute.

She pauses for a moment, her thick built legs stretched under her fit body, her neck slightly arched and her friesian head raised. She flutters her dark lashes and turns her ears, taking in any sound she could possibly hear. It's safe, for now. It's just a matter of time before she's moving again, her thick legs dancing through the daunting, her long gold mane moving gracious and covering her like a blanket.

She catches a sound, a breaking twig. She raises her head and points her ears, her nostrils become still, and her body freezes in place. Her muscles tense under her deep brown coat as her ears pin flat against her skull. The deep scent of a horse reaches her nose and she holds back the urges of speaking. She made herself visible, almost as if she has had practice. Still she knew she would be forgotten eventually. She listens to someone move closer, deeper into the forest. Looking around she sees no one, but what now?

She decided to speak. But what would she speak? How should she enter this land? The options were narrowed to sweet or brutish. "Who goes?" It was brutish and regular for her. She probably should've detoured the other way, but she didn't and it was too late to take it back now. She'd have to deal with the consequences.
