“Who ever said she was alone?”

The soft, melodic thrum of Mirage's voice penetrated the vicinity, as her black form took shape from the surrounding shadows, her illusionary cloak dropping with an elegant step into the moonlight. A small, mostly hidden smile was given to the dark hued maiden that orchestrated the stars, her old golden dragon sitting atop her withers, scales glinting in the starlight emanating from the magical dove.

Golden eyes drifted to the stallion now, absorbing his tall frame, the many wings that decorated his back, the strength with which he carried himself. Her own sturdy frame halted by the mare Cassiopeia, whom Mirage vaguely remembered at the meeting of the Tuuli, once they had successfully won the invasion. She had been nearby to catch the stallion state his name, and the question which Mirage had answered by providing another question for him.

“You stand upon the Threshold of lands called Helovia, their depths containing unknown potentials for both greatness and jeopardy. Do you truly wish to spend the rest of your days merely looking in from the outskirts?” The query was posed politely enough, her voice was even and informative, the mare providing a surprising amount of information while also making the lands seem appropriately mysterious.
