He fears darkness and death and the crushing depths of the ocean - and fears even more that anyone will realize and call him weak for it. And so he coats the dread in layer upon layer of despite and contempt, wrap himself in fire and burn the ground as he walk, laughing in guilt-ridden delight over the thrill destruction offers. The sun is his life and his light, he worships it and would do anything to get closer to this source of raw, brilliant and destructive power.

Lelatu isn't evil. He is, however, a destructive force that will lay waste to everything in his path if left alone, like a raging wildfire might spread if jumping the ring of rocks. It's not that he hates the world - he just loves to see it burn, for the joy of rediscovering love of life and see the appreciation of light in the eyes of others. A gentle sadist and merry devil, he will laugh as you writhe in the pain his devotion will cause - for being loved by the Son of Flame can be nothing but agonizing.

History:

Born in the land of the Aurora far to the north, to the rulers of the greatest herds in the region. Meant to serve as a union to keep the unicorns and pegasi from destroying one another, the presence of this hybrid child, and more recently his younger brother, did indeed stave the flames of impending war. Tensions kept running high however as different parties of war-mongers did their best to break the alliance. The young prince was constantly pressured to sway one way or the other, take the side of the horned or the winged in matters of importance - and as the focus on him grew his ego swelled in proportion. Filled with the notion of his own importance, the young and inexperienced colt finally became the cause of a disaster as a careless action all but triggered a riot. Staved off just in time, his neutrality had been compromised however, and with the pretext of being sent on a mission to 'find the Sun' he was exiled from his homeland, forced to seek out a new place to live.

[Magic: Dark x Earth | Plant dragon: By merging with/reshaping into rose vines, able to take the guise of a winged, full-sized dragon. Incapable of flight or speech. Damaging a vine will make it bleed. ]

Basically, will look like a dragon but be made out of moving wood/vines. The heart will remain intact/unchanged, hidden away and protected at the core. Would have feeling in all the wooden parts and feel pain just as in the normal body.
