She was pleased by the ivory stallion's exuberance in beholding his home for the first time, for she too appraised this land as alluring and vast. Despite the relentless temperatures that sidled over this region throughout the sun-drenched hours of the day, it was still quite a sight to see. It was especially so as the extravagant incandescence of the setting sun bent and flexed the azure sky into an array of rich emblazoned hues and ignited the desolate contours of the russet that extended all around them in a conflagration of vividly crimson pigments. Often it grew chilly during the nights. However, it provided the inhabitants with a much appreciated refuge from the God of the Sun's ostensibly insatiable wrath. The stallion's inquiry had fallen upon deaf ears. Her attention was anchored upon the dark silhouette of her mate as he came to greet the pair of pegasus. A lulled, yet throaty nicker bubbled up from within her bosom, doused in femininity and affection. Her ears flopped momentarily sideways with pleasure as they bumped muzzles, then she too assumed her previous stance. She regarded Andash kindly as the ebony stud invited him to the lake, following her lover as he conveyed his body toward it. "Azzuen, this is Andash. I found him in the Threshold and invited him to join our ranks." She regarded the ashen stallion with a smile, lowering her gracile tiara to the reflective surface of the water once they had reached it and imbibed the cool fluid. |
